What software is used in this game and others with a similar art style for animation generation? I understand illusion games are popular for that, is this game and others like it from an illusion game or something else?

A nice looking female mc with realistically proportioned body parts is refreshing. Story is interesting, perhaps a little too slow burn for some. The English is great. Looking to see the next chapter and Itch option to support before I will consider supporting this one. Hopefully dev will not abandon this game; it has promise. Good Luck GrumpyGranny on your game.

These seem to be Daz3d models. Some familiar faces to be sure.

Thanks! I didn't know about itch.io and I feel that the game needs a little more content to be added there, but I am adding it to my TODO list :)

chapter 1 it mentions Alice was shaved (and seems like it from the shower) and in chapter 2 she grew a landing strip

don't know if intentional change or not

love the story so far though

That's just her 5 o'clock shadow.

I like the idea but still early. I'm also gonna just come right out and ask the dev..."Is your intention to be Lovecraftian in style only( appearances basically)? Or do you intend the story to be written in a Lovecraftian style? No offense but so many Lovecraft inspired stories out there end up being trash as most people do not understand Lovecraftian horror AT ALL.

That's a really good question, something I've asked myself as well actually. One of the challenges is that his work is a hundred years old, and this is very different format (VN). I thing that the Call of Cthulhu game ( newer one, though i've heard the older is very good) managed to do that, although I would say it is to the point of using cliches. Just like Lovecraft was using his present time as setting, I am also using a present time (albeit without covid, lol). That being said, even though the story will get progressively darker and more horror-ish, I'd say it is still more of an urban fantasy (definitely so far, the game will feature three "acts", the second one will be more lovecraft-like in spirit).
