More seriously, he seems pretty motivated right now to deliver something.
I haven't looked at Patreon for months until 2 weeks, and since april/may I was so surprised to see that he post regularly on his page. The new art is pretty nice. And he's right : " I can't... ignore it sometimes. I truly am working to pick and choose my battles, but that hand... did you see that hand? " (BTW, if you remove the panties, no one wil notice the hand anymore.)
Let's give it a (another?) chance.
There's many devs that redo endlessly their stuff and charge montly for 0 progress and sometime even regress, some others deliver a great intro game, post 2 or 3 updates, then keep silent for months, at least Yummy don't scam his supporters.
Procrastination and delivering only false hope for years aren't a crime, for now.
Can you share with us how much content will there be in the next version? Did you stop updating the game to finish chapter 1 or did you simply have technical problems/lack of free time?

Lack of time to work on the game. I've been sharing new stuff on Patreon, but unfortunately, I've have had almost no time to work on the game for weeks. The next release is still only the MV prologue. There are technical problems as well, but I'm going to go ahead and put the MV prologue back out without all the menus and combat working. I'm still hunting for commissions on that front.
I know you don't want to face accusations of being a scam, but unless you start a monthly patreon I really don't see this game ever being able to support a full time job. Either the scope needs to be decreased drastically or you have to be brutally honest with your patrons and take that leap if this is ever going to see a real release.
Start the billing cycle on patreon. It's time. Let the people who want to see that green little guy and the elf lady do stuff together help you finally start pumping out regular upgrades.
I've been posting new content for a few months now. I'm sssslllllloooooooowwwwwllllllyyyyy building the game I want. When I have content I've deemed worthy of a pledged cycle, I will run one. In the meantime, you can always just ignore the game and check back once a year or so.

Hey man, you do your thing, however and whenever you want. Don't do it for other people, do it for yourself. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter to anyone else. There's tons of stuff here to take up peoples time. If you gave us all something great, awesome. If not, oh well. Good luck.

for people that don't know YT yet; the prologue or whatever version of his game won't be released, this is classic YT, announcing that he is close to a release, then he slows down, starts moving the goalposts, then he goes MIA for a year, then he goes back to square 1.
I really hope YT this time actually serious with his update but if he's doing that typical shit the n times then I must say the Mods need to marked this game "Abandoned" so no more false hopes and promises, even YandereDev actually release enough updates in the span of 8 years

No, it's not the full prologue. It's an alpha to identify bugs, which it already did and I've already uploaded a new version. I plan to release MV 0.10 on Tuesday, so it'll be about 4 days. Sharing the alpha for patrons to test seems like a waste of time, as it will change as bugs get squashed.
My guess is most releases will follow a similar pattern in the future.
