I'm not saying either way if it is or isn't canon, but I wouldn't assume so. If Carbdis stated that, then maybe that's "word of god". I assume it's canon so far though, but it's also early in the game.

also you lost me...i simply stated that the Harem Ending of OiaL is the canon one XD i did i mis-read something?XD

Eternum doesn't focus on the same MC as the player's point of view, no... but...
Look, the breadcrumbs are there. I already said I won't spoil too much, but if you're looking for it, you'll find it. Some of this is concrete for me, other stuff are theories as we're only on 0.2.

Two things I'll say:
1.) The character models/designs are deliberate.
2.) Caribdis likes symbols.

One thing i'll say:
1.) English is not my first/main language, so every symbolism or figure-of-speech is either idiotically simple or i wouldn't get it until you explain to me like you would explain it to a 7 years old kid u.u

Just played 0.2 and oh boy the plot goes fast. Usually in games and shows there is some goofing before stuff gets serious, but this game goes forward with speed! 2/3 superweapons are already in player team, plus one gem of doom. The problem with this kind of approach is that we actually lose the touch on base Eternum how 99% of players see it because all this high-level stuff, I mean MC has not even opened his stat menu! I am a bit worried that either this game will end really quickly or rest of the game is full of epic fighting!

Either way I find MC unlikeable: he is too perfect and his life seems to be on easymode. Not only he is physically fit, but every girl seems to be attracted to him, like the mom of the family scams her friend to be able to have cyber sex with MC. For reasons he is the chosen one with 100% combability, has mysterious visions God knows from where, and as mentioned has a superweapon+gem of doom something like after his third log-in. I don't know what devs were thinking by introducing a character who succeeds at everything even when he does not put any effort on it. For me it is a huge turnoff, because there is no struggle.

I have to agree with you on the 2nd part The MC getting gem of doom was ok because after all we solved the mystery by our own efforts and helped Luna with the case, so you can see that as a "struggle". But the weapons come too easily. Nova wielding one of them is very unexpected; when I first saw the AI said the 2nd weapon is wielded by a girl I thought "ok this will be a main girl/ side girl in the future that we need to win over, so we get the 2nd weapon" or something, but dev just decided to give it to an ally who is (almost by default) one of our love interest.

Finished v0.2. Great update Caribdis. As expected, you've outdone yourself. Looking forward to v0.3!

Though... that reveal in the middle of the second half: Oh no... I fear this is the worst timeline. We need Marty McFly to save it.

Ok so I finally played and as expected it's a 10/10 again!
Yes, the plot does advance fast, but I don't see it as bad, it's actually refreshing. I do hate when games allude to something early on and you only see that plot line unfold at a 0.8 update or something, some times we have to wait a year or more to see how things unfold for a part of the story we are waiting, so I appreciate that.
I trust the devs won't let the story get out of hand and even if the plan is a shorter story, I'm ok with that since I expect it to be well executed.

All the little things that make their games great are present in this update, the comedy, the wholesomeness, the scary bits and all the technical stuff like smooth transitions, sounds, scenery and wardrobe.

The only thing that concerns me a bit is how we are entering multiple worlds and I tend to get attached to things rather quickly. We already visited a cyberpunk, medieval fantasy, a desolate world and the mystery realm. As things progress, I don't see us visiting those again. It made sense for the story and allow the devs to work with multiple settings which is very cool but my hopes for seeing the 0.1 escort girl or progressing our levels on that medieval setting (my favorite) are not very high. But then again, that's totally a me problem and devs are thinking way bigger than I am right now so I trust how they unfold things.

The highlight for me was surprisingly the free roam, it blew my mind how immersive that shit was, and I hate free roams with passion! Everything else was great too but I was already expecting those, the roam though, damn that was a good surprise!

Can't wait for 0.3

The other shocking event was the epilogue of the first release when that person was announced K.I.A or rather dead from over exertion..That event opened up the doors for many possibilities, either Eternum is more real than people think or the events in it can be altered to affect the real world and the enforcers are one of those that have the authority to do that.

Some people are worried that the MC is too strong even as a beginner, well if he doesn't have potential to be one of the greats then he should quit being MC, him being the chosen one is a given since this isn't the kind of plot where you insert an underdog hero with no innate skill to speak of.

The reason he achieved so much in so little time is not only his luck but also the fact that he surrounds himself with bestial players; plot device is there as well for sure but I still don't think it's exaggerated...Just enough to keep the plot going.

My criticisms remain the same; it's easy to lose a character for mistakenly picking a minor choice that in reality shouldn't keep them away from you. Nancy is attractive but her behavior leaves a lot to be desired but that may just be me talking,opinions differ and so on....And as a final note; Penelope contradicts herself a lot; sometimes she acts shy and other times she shares intimate pictures on her social media with no care, it's hard to tell which version of her is the real one.

I think there is a lot of sense to this assertion as both of these characters have a habit of appearing anywhere and everywhere and they are the most opportunistic fuckers we have seen in the game so far
