Yes, plus new features (0.4 will have the option to chicken out of 1:1 combat and better visibility of the fiefdoms you control) and sometimes an extra: in 0.3 I added Domia and Alam to the palace, in 0.4 the Subscribestar patrons voted to have additional interaction with Fahda the moneylender. But the core of new updates is the infiltration quest and conquest of one fiefd

I played v. 2.xx and had no problems. Later I downloaded 3.14 and had it in my to play list for a while, finally decided to try it today, launched the game... and nothing, no errors, no anything. Tried updating to 3.16, same issue, created a log file but that's it, doesn't launch the game at all, only shows up in process list for a sec and then disappears again. Tried restarting pc, still no luck, this is the only game that won't launch, other ren'py games work fine.

Some players complained about the game **not starting**. This solution helped:

With some games, newer versions might not work if there are earlier saves.

Delete all the files both from C:\Users\<your_username>\appdata\roaming\renpy\khan-<numbers> and from the game's root\game\saves.

Hi all, a quick 0.4 status report and news about a Christmas version.

I'm starting to wrap version 0.4 up. The quest is ready and was already QAed (tester said it's the best quest so far!) and now I am working on the Fahda (the money lender) revisit and queen Sumia (image enclosed) flow.

My (intentionally pessimist) spreadsheet predicts that the full version will be ready by January 11th but I want to give the 10$+

backers who wish to play an early version for Christmas the option to do so. This partial Christmas version will be made available to 10$+ backers before Christmas, hopefully on December 24th.

This Christmas version will not have Karder in Santa Claus outfit or any other Christmas related naughtiness, but will feature the whole Hawatia quest and one queen Sumia flow (Dominance). After releasing this partial update, I'll fill the last gaps (Fahda, queen Sumia Seduction flow) and start rolling out the version by tiers (stating probably on January 11th) until I make it public.

Infrastructure wise, I did not make dramatic changes but 0.4 will feature a chicken icon for those who feel overwhelmed by the 1 on 1 combat. Clicking it will automatically win the duel, Subduing the opponent if possible. Along with VN Mode introduced in 0.3.16, those who absolutely hate all the gaming elements will have an even smoother sail. Your loss

As your Khaganate grows, it becomes harder to remember which fiefdoms are under your control: another feature in 0.4 will show you the fiefdoms under your control in a uniform color.

1 of the best games i've played on here...pleasantly surprised! (even tho there wasn't any gore ...yeah yeah, i know; not gonna be in the game, not your thing) so apparently the ONLY ways Domia comes w/the MC is if u let her stop u from taking the 90 gold from Fahda, n only take the 20, or tell Fahda the truth n tell her Domia is leaving with u? b/c i've tried both her warrior n revenge routes (drugging Fahda both ways), n yet she still doesn't show up in the palace...?? so apparently can't bring BOTH Domia n Alam w/the MC, away from Fahda?

n will we ever see Darny or Arzu again? would've liked to ravage her AND let the goblins have their way w/the brigands trio, then have Arzu jump into the orgy (she loves goblins, rite?) also would be nice to get both Gaal options, of MC fucking her, n watching her w/her dog (4-way w/her sister would be even better )

last thing...i came inside both Angilia n Nahir on day 10, getting the message that they'd start showing on day 32, yet repeated attempts failed to produce any baby bumps; is this option not in the game yet? (n speaking of knocking bitches up, will we ever see the rich mom/dau again u help out of the forest after being tricked into killing the night ogre?)

1) i guess Darny isn't a huge loss, since there's still other elfkin to breed...just wasn't sure if it was worth slaughtering poor, innocent orcs or not for the chance to breed her, in the event we got to see her again. but myself, n numerous others i've seen, requesting ethnic/black women in VN games, would REALLY appreciate seeing Arzu again, especially if she were to let Gamdoo breed her, n she also had a thing for gamulis

That's because you don't recruit Domia if you're on the revenge path, regardless of everything else. Try to do Alam and Domia to the end but on Domia's warrior path and they'll both be at the castle.

but i need that 90 gold to build the 4 temples to fuck Nahir; n doing Domia's warrior route she confronts u at the vault, n won't let u take more than 20 gold, so u wind up having to fight her. i did that route, n obviously she doesn't come along...so if u still drug Fahda, then the only way to get Domia is to not fight her, n only take the 20 gold?

Heh, there was a bug, not sure if it's fixed now or not, that if you do that, but subdue her instead of kill her, you'd get the 90 scales, AND Alam, AND Domia. Very exploity, but exploity seems right in Karder's wheelhouse, doesn't it?

oh, i subdued her alright, n then had my way w/her afterwards...so if u don't have sex w/her after subduing her, u get the gold AND Domina? b/c i just checked my saves, n the only other option than ravishing her after subduing her is to tie her up n leave her there...so i don't see how what you're saying is possible; Doorknob22, a little help?

Like I said, it is/was a bug and shouldn't have been possible in the first place - might very well have been fixed by now.

Also: you don't need to rob Fahda to fulfil queen Nahir's seduction flow. After your first fiefdom there's no limitation to the amount of gold you can hoard. In fact: as of version 0.3.16 you can accumulate too much gold and have nothing to do with it, an issue I'll have to address eventually.
