Ya from what I can tell it changes some of the dialogue a little so they state that they are actually brother / sister. I think regardless they have the mom as a step mom, but it just basically changes the relationship between Nami & MC. Someone else who has paid closer attention feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, changes relationships in the story. Apart from MC/Nami being siblings, it does the same with Vic/Maja and Bella's missing friend. These people were all related in the original releases before the Patreon retcon.
The patch is a bit inconsistent with applying these relationships (changes from release to release), but I think that's because the patch author struggles to keep track of it. The Typo fix mod consistently treats them as siblings though.

Time's flying.
So, welcome to the 7th Dev Log of Chapter 4.
In the last Log, I mentioned I started working on a big limiter in my productivity and oh boy, it's already paying off big time but I need to make sure to burn this habit into my brain.
Next month I will give some actual numbers to demonstrate the improvement.
I will not mention the exact "limiter" because it's personal.
Anyways, big steps are being made and I also acquired something new that will increase the quality of certain types of animations a lot. (And also speed up the process in making them.)
I'll tell you guys about it when I have an example to show.
Anyways, I've got only Tabletop (TBT) previews today with one exception.
I just can't preview any of the new renders I currently have of the real timeline.
I'm currently working on my cinematic abilities, trying to improve my "eye" for it and also throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.
One thing I know for now is that this will probably be the last TBT session in Daz.
I've got so many amazing ideas but I'm limited by either Daz or my skills. (I still lack advanced knowledge in After Effects, etc.)
I'll try my best to deliver, though.

SG is making great on Patreon so I suppose you're talking about popularity here. Now in my opinion this can be due to the following.
Summer's Gone has been in development since 2019 and there is no signs of faster updates. Ocean is slow and he's remaking his first game on top of that. I think the other game has got 1 update in 2021 and it was just the 1st chapter of the remake.
Storywise SG is nothing new, you have high school drama and incest. Not that hot when there are dozens of games about the same.
The renders are good, especially the faces of the girls. Ocean has made some great wallpapers with them but that is. There is no sex in the game after all this time.

Now this is what I tell you about good news before I go to sleep. I just hope this isn't a full Bella episode, it has to start showing the details of the other girls' lives.
I've been wondering this myself. And I think the guy she's dating has two daughters IIRC.
For the record, I find this VN very enjoyable and am amazed at Ocean's growth as a writer and the technical skills he's developed. So I am not trolling. However, your "typical answer" is exactly correct. If a VN wants to be a top ten on this site, or in the realm of "adult VNs", sexual content is pretty much mandatory. Note I DID NOT SAY that sexual content is mandatory in an adult VN, only in those that seek top billing.
I have no doubt that when he's ready, sexual content will appear here, and it's quality will match or exceed the other levels of quality he's demonstrated to date. But expecting the greater audience for adult VNs to ignore the lack of sexual content is foolish.
