I see this as another diversion. Is it suspense builder for the release, a real branch, a response to feedback from his paying customers, or another part of the delay. To quote a famous character....

And as the old, rusted wheel that I am. He has not written it. His comments post .150 indicated he needed a writer. If it were written then he would not need a writer, just a translator. If it were fully written he could have it translated as he works. The translation is always last because he is writing it after he does the art. At most, he has a rough outline and he works his art to achieve his goals then fills in the script. The point you make here Dr.Fapalot supports my contention.
I predict the janitor will turn out to be Aiden's long lost twin brother who was separated at birth by a loose cult of janitor worshippers looking to install a supreme janitor as ruler of the world.
If by "nice" you mean what I think you mean, I can't imagine this situation. The janitor and Aiden would have to be good buddies for that. But somehow I think this is not so (without proof). Also, Aiden would have to suddenly become a voyer and let someone else go first. What the janitor knows very well is the scum (like Aiden) around the school.

I would not assume anything more also. Only that for me the rough plan is already pretty complete. That means the paths are complete and the events and their order are planned. That doesn't mean for me that the single event is completely worked out or and that the order of events can't be adjusted. But L&P doesn't have to come up with the paths at the beginning of a new update. I can't prove any of this.
This can be a possible scenario. But for now, I only see this possibility as Aiden's counterpart, not his sidekick. We simply know too little about what L&P has planned.
I was going to say it would be fairer for each of the Filthy routes to have an equal amount of renders (since the Dylan route has 6 events), but then I realised there aren't that many recent renders for the Patricia route. And wont be, until PD14 &15. But we can visit this preview idea then if needed.
Aiden is rich, and Janitor needs his job. I say he needs that job because that night he could have tried something more ... but he didn't.
Is Aiden rich or is it cause his uncle is the DA why he gets away with a lot.
