In Unity the developer can specify where they go. Most modern games use a subdirectory in the user profile, but not all of them.

I have a rare issue where the new update starts to load and just gets stuck on “system assets” while the card spins. Never progresses. Happens to me every 4th or 5th update it seems.
I will keep seeing if I did something wrong to the file or if others have an issue like this

Others know the tech better then I, but in the interest of a quick response...
Did you overwrite the old with the new?
Or did you (copy saves first!) delete the old and then extract the new?
IIrc, there are some issues you can run into with overwriting.

this game is suuuuper buggy.....my "check guest" button turned into a "difficulty" button and ends up causing the game not letting me to select anything once I click on that button and it never goes away even if I restart the game. Pretty much ruined any progress I could make. Also once I renovated a 2nd hotel room, every thing became un-selectable.
Just started playing again after a year away. Im I not enough in the game far enough to be able to save?
Bug with 4 stars customers they do not appear but you can still checkin someone then you cannot click anymore nobutton to continue
Maybe you need laura stat to activate kay it should be some girl on girl scene

Can you attach a copy of your player log, please? Use the Windows+R key and paste the following in the Run dialog box:

You can only save after you have completed the tutorial and Karen has successfully checked out. If you are using a save older than version 0.6.0, then you would need to start a new game.

Nora became super bugged, if you check her in, you will be locked, either attempting to talk to her or when she supposed to check out.

4/4 days of her stay passed, she supposed to check out but - this.
Also when she is staying, button "Check on guest" become:
And if i press it, i am locked at next menu.
Norhing interesting.
Im playing in the story mode btw.
It seems to be something with the story mode and Nora, we are looking into it now.
