Wrong, he said he hired an animator. So the we would be L$P & his animator, you know the one he blamed the delay on for the update he had done months ago

Heck no!!! I like some of Jackerman's work but it is completely different style to AWAM. Adding Jackerman to AWAM would just kill the game. If you want Jackerman then go find a Jackerman style game.

We want what is happening in Jackerman's animations.At least to some extent.

Very sad to agree with this, but I have to. 2nd base was so hard to achieve for a guy she likes from a rock band after they killed that evening and he took her home and she liked him before - how can a home run be near? We still have not seen anyone getting 3rd base.

No. Hell no!! As I sais I like Jackerman and I have copies of some of those animations. But they are NOT compatible with AWAM. Jackerman's visual style is TOTALLY different too L&P. I would prefer to keep the two completely separate and enjoy them on their own merits.

I am saying we don't need the animations,we need the actions that happen in the animations to appear in AWAM.
That's what YOU WANT, and it's not the case for everyone. So be a little more aware of that. If i want a porn game. I go look for a porn game. That's not a porn game, and that's what most people don't get. it's an erotic game. the difference is quite big.

The most of us agree that putting that much effort in animations of secondary characters was not worthy, considering the amount of time spent it. But still I think Lust&Passion could manage everything different.
For example, the Freshwomen's dev is also delivering top quality animations, and those take a lot of time too. But he releases a beta update, without all the animations, for the people who still want to play the update without them. And later he releases the complete update, with all the animations included, so the people don't need to wait too much between updates. By the way, that dev delivers a lot more animations because it seems that he has more than one animator, something that L&P should have, there are 7 people in his team.
If L&P would have released the v0.155 without animations moths ago and later the 0.160 including those animations, I think the hate would be less.

OK - I see I may have misunderstood - you meant not the style of Jackerman but the content?
If so, then fair enough.
Mhmmm i don't think you can compare the two. This to me looks good but not as good . the movement is good , the expression too but other than that .... well nothing, lighting is flat. The Hair doesnt move. Only the dick moves so no. I think its good but not top quality. And if you need 7 animators for that. Well i guess the animator that works with L&P did a solid job.
Now i am with you for the time it took in order to get the update. It is simply not worth it. We need faster updates. Animations or not

The animations, in a vacuum, are pretty good. Better than standard daz animations, and at least fairly close to other big developers and their animations. Pretty good for a 1st attempt at animation, and yes that implies that I believe LP himself did the animations. I highly doubt the animator actually exists.
They would've been received a lot better if...
- They would've been used on a key character. Not two side-characters most people couldn't identify in a lineup.
- LP didn't try to hype them as the best thing ever. Including being arrogant and condescending towards other developers.
- LP wasn't intentionally vague, which caused himself to have a lot of contradictions and inconsistency in what the "special" thing even was.
- LP would've been more measured in general. "I want to add animations in the game, so in this upcoming update I'm going to experiment with animations during a scene with a couple side-characters. So I can learn how to do them and see if it's viable for later use on Sophia and the main cast. This will likely make this update take longer, but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end."
Among other things.

If you think these animations can be made by a beginner you must be out of your mind. To those who thinks L&P made that while working on the update. Go ahead and try it

Some time ago, quite a long time because of the pace of the roll-out, I commented along those lines & that blackmail would cease to be, if Sophia enjoyed what would have become a mutually consensual sex game. I didn't want that then & I still don't. Sophia having an element of enjoyment is one thing. It helps with her gradual, general, sexual corruption. Sophia revelling in the tasks is completely different.Well, as we know, Aiden's tasks wont be blackmailing anymore because Sofia is becoming more and more interested in his sexual fantasies and she will willingly endure them. I don't say that this will be easy for her, but she is already corrupted an she is ready to go further. On the other hand, Don Morello could easily ask Sophia to please some old fart, like mayor or his old uncle, but for sure this favor wont be easy task (especially in the second half of the game).

Imagine if incest fans looking forward to Dylan's 'big day' were to learn that he'd been adopted & was not Sophia's natural son. That's the kind of story wrecker we're talking about here.
Yes, you're correct, that's what I'm saying. It's the high quality, aim for greater realism & interesting characters that give AWAM some of its' Unique Selling Points (USPs). They're definitely among the reasons that L&P is able to continue as he does. This despite the advancement of available 3D quality models & resources over the time of AWAM's existence. This is because, although gamers are able to compare what's on offer, there are many who appreciate the style of AWAM. Some things the Dev does are spot on & the VN/game is still marginally less puerile than its' closest 'competitors'.
What needs reducing, IMO, is not the quality or greater realism but the number of characters, especially those providing opportunities for sexually oriented contact, (i.e. a large number), the duplicated storylines, the semi-believable side jobs & from my own POV the designation of a second MC. There are other distractions & while I don't know enough about animations to comment on their standard, (which to me seemed good), I do believe that they were not required.
Greater focus on the main protagonist would, IMO, bring her much closer to extra-marital sex, hopefully within my lifetime. This would need to be combined with more frequent updates. Both of these measures are, or I assume, must be obvious to a person of L&P's intelligence but none of us are really expecting any change.
I was playing "A Wife at All Costs" until this came along at a time that I was thinning out the game downloads. It put a brake on AWAAC & I tried the preview edition. It was OK but now I play neither.

He's still managing to maintain interest because the quality & aim for greater realism are stll there, although I would say "just" for the latter. I've posted several times along the lines of how I do, begrudgingly perhaps, admire this Dev for how he's able to make a good living with his product, having never been troubled by issues of deadlines, or customer care. It's all down to what, how & when he wants to deliver something to his eager fans. He knows that he could make a great deal more money but he seems comfortable with what's flowing steadily right now. This to me is the very essence of personal control, at a level many who run their own businesses can never hope to achieve & those who work for someone else's business, or for a large organisation, can only dream of. Objectively speaking, I've got to hand it to him.
Subjectively, we've all heard of the probability that the business model is sustained by an influx of "fresh blood", i.e. those who join up, play from start to finish & think that it's great. Whether they choose to remain once they realise how rarely they'll obtain their next update(s), is an individual choice but L&P does seem able to retain a fairly large core of Patrons, whatever happens. I believe that part of the reason for this must be that there is nothing else strictly comparable to AWAM. I think this way because I've tried the other well-known games, (some frequently cited on this thread for those who wish to play something similar) & for me, they weren't games I stayed with.
