Love the game, have played early versions of it, but I'm done with it until you have a single complied release. There's no reason to have to do a puzzle to figure out what files go with/in which folder just to play the game. FYI, making people work just to get into your game is a huge barrier to entry.

Not to mention the 'compressed' size is larger than the actual size as a direct result.

I honestly feel dumb. so the game files are split between multiple uploads? How do I as someone who hasn't downloaded this once, download it to where I have the full game up to this point? Just download the first then extract the two other files into the first?

You need to extract the three archives in the same place, in that order:

• Image Pack 1 provides the images and videos up to version 0.9 of the game
• Image Pack 2 provides additional images up to version 0.11 (and may overwrite a few files from image pack 1)
• 0.11 Bugfix HTML is the current version of the game (and may also overwrite a few files from the image packs)

This may be inconvenient for your first download because you need to extract three archives instead of a single one. However, this makes things easier if you regularly update the game because you only need to add the latest images and HTML instead of having to re-download several gigabytes of images and videos for every new release. (With my slow metered connection, the download takes several hours so it is really nice for me that I do not have to re-download Image Pack 1 every time.)

Yes, several players have reported the same problem and I also experienced it once, although I do not know what triggers it exactly. It seems to happen only once, but then it screws up your game permanently until you hack the game variables to restore a proper number.

The current workaround is to open your browser console (F12) and type:
SugarCube.State.variables.charge=1234 (any valid number)
Note that the names are case-sensitive (e.g., SugarCube, not Sugarcube). I only had to fix it once and the problem did not re-occur after that.

you need to download all and merge them. and obviously take the newest html file from update 12

The 10-12 pack anon link is 10-11...either wrong named or not updated (yet).
However, is the html file in the image pack archive or did the uploader forget the download link to the actual game ?

AmusingOddity, first time going to sleep after updating and hit the charge bug:


12 servers running.

But at least it doesn't break my charge total anymore.

Using the app on Karlee (the new 'casting' scene) takes away all your charge, no refund.

Btw. a bit odd to be on the private path with her and be talking about having her fuck other men, but I get that it's part of the general degradation vibe.


Once my charge was at 0 from that bug I could generate charge from the servers normally over night.

AmusingOddity would you mind and add what kind of paths/scenes have been added/continued to the changelog in the future? Just adding how many more words each character got doesn't really say much in my oppinion. It could mean that there are tons of new sex scenes or just lots of talk about the weather.
