Is it just me or is the game broken for anyone else? I keep getting an error mentioning some nonexistent path or file when trying to launch the game

You're probably going from a modded to an unmodded version of the game. Mod no longer exists, so it won't work. I can't/don't provide support for mod problems, so... Try reinstalling from scratch and deleting out your save and persistent data from %APPDATA%. No one playing an unmodified version has had issues with running Ch 11.

I haven't played the game before and just downloaded it for the first time through the links at the top of the thread, so I don't think it would have anything to do with modding. I checked the appdata folder anyway to make sure and it was empty, so that almost certainly isn't problem. I deleted an re-installed it a couple of times and that yielded no results either, so idk.

This is from the log you included;
"No such file or directory: u'D:/Colleges/cambridge narrative/Priv\udce9/Price-Of-Power-market"

Are you trying to run games on a university thin-client or something?

Put it on a local hard drive, not a network drive.

It looks like its failing to start because its trying to use a steamID which I suspect has something to do with the network drive location posted in the log.

"D:\Price-Of-Power-market\"
That is how a local address looks. with "\" not "/"
This is what you have.
" u'D:/Colleges/cambridge narrative/Priv\udce9/Price-Of-Power-market "

It looks like you're putting it on a network drive, you have to run it locally.
I wouldn't be surprised if putting porn games on your university network storage is some kind of violation tbh.

I edited my comment to clarify, but it's not on any sort of university network. It's a local drive in my own pc. I've put the folder where the game is installed under a folder where I keep some of my stuff for uni, which is why it might look like it's on a university network.

Update: I also installed it in another folder on the same drive. It appears for some reason that the problem is that there was an "é" in the name of one of my folders (I tested it to make sure. The game in the folder called "Priv" works fine, but the one in "Privé" doesn't launch and gives the error I mentioned). Weird that this was a problem here as I haven't run into anything like this with other Renpy games

IDK, I didn't set any options (not are there any AFAIK) to remove support for characters... I'm on vacation, but I can check and see if there's something in the options when I'm back. Glad you got everything working!
