Was really enjoying this until the freaking escape room. Solving a puzzle like that for some extra scene is one thing, but I just got stuck and that just ruins the mood even if you do eventually solve it. And other than the annoying puzzle there isn't even anything that; just a vibrator that you can't use. No reward for the puzzle other than being able to continue the game at all. At least add some dialogue or something to help solve it. The bitch has a brain as well.

It might be a good idea to have an option to skip the puzzle, then there wouldn't be so much comments about it, personally I didn't mind it, but I can understand people just wanting to play for the story, and not expecting to be playing The Longest Journey.

Male route is released first as its the largest majority (I think, hard to tell at this point, may need to do a poll). Much of the female route is done concurrently while the male route is done, but some things require completely separate scenes/animations. there is already some female specific things in this version but if you play female route right now you will grow a dick later in the day.
working on the rest of the female specific things now.
Female route will not go away, but may continue to be a few weeks behind male, and honestly, looking at how quickly the game is growing in file size, female/male route may eventually be split entirely (dont need gigs of male animations/images if you are playing female route or vice/versa).
I'm already looking into how to package things separately so this can be done in future updates, and to allow smaller update packages.
Example: you already have days 1 through 10, and don't want to download 8gb of a game again, you can just download the package containing the day 11 update.

You can put the scripts (and other coding stuff that doesn't take too much space) in 1 archive & the image/animation resources for each day in an archive each. So you periodically update the script.rar & add Day1.rar, Day2.rar (or Day1F.rar, Day1M.rar) as you complete each day. Just put it in the same mega folder & you won't even need to update the links.
Sure a bit complicated for users, but just pack the archives such that unarchiving them to the same folder automatically puts the game folder together properly.
P.S: A new player will have to download multiple archives - is the trade-off ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

Man I'm sick and tired of all these casuals bitching about the puzzle. Even though I'm still stuck on it and only came here for the answer, HOWEVER, I think dev should maintain their creative freedom and compromise on what they want in the game with what is amenable to fans. I think the main problem is that I don't fully understand *how* to solve the code. The hints on the paper are vague and there is no other information available to assist me. I solved the equation and got 69, so I assumed since it was 6 digits it would be 696969 but that wasn't correct, and after that I checked the clues again but was still stumped. Dev could simply add more clues to help us figure it out, and I guess add a button that lets you skip it if you are a smoothbrain like I am.

Yes, this was actually one of my biggest issues with sandbox too. This game will have more sandbox as It continues, but I don't want that constantly clicking every room just to see what you have to do next, it will be open but "guided"

I did figure out how to do all this, I used my concept when i developed nexus and each story is indipendly packaged so they can be removed/added as needed.
and for the new player multiple downloads, I was still going to offer a "Full" Download.

Great news! I still love me the nieces (the way I play it as uncle), but Misa is probably the best looking Asian LI I've seen so far, so interested in seeing more of her too. Looking forward to the update!
