I guess I didn't get the memo somewhere or other because season 2 clobbered season 1(chapter 14 load) and season 2 wouldn't run either. I copied the download for season 2 into my existing folder and extracted it. This fracks up Renpy it appears with all kinds of crap. Too much to list.

I thought maybe season 2's Koga mod did it so deleted everything but the downloads, re-extracted season 1, Koga mod for 1, season 2, Koga mod for 2. Nope, wasn't it. I deleted my folder again, re-extracted season 1 and season 2 without the Koga mods and nope, still crap.

Lastly, I started over yet again and installed chapter 14 into its own new file folder, extracted it and it runs fine. I did the same for season 2 and it runs fine too.

My saves were even retained but I deleted my original game saves folder along with the whole rest of the install so I don't know how that works.

I installed a fresh copy of season 2 in its own folder and it imported the last save from season 1 and eretang is a oh tay.

If the actual game saves are not in the game saves folder where are they? There are entries in game saves folder but the actual data snapshots of the saves is somewhere else?

Should I mention that I run Linux?

It's not explained anywhere but yeah, season 2 must be installed in a separate directory from season 1, if you copy the files in the old game directory you will surely receive a lot of errors due to repeated variables, incompatibilities, etc.

The idea is that you can have both seasons installed on your pc, each one with its own gallery but sharing the saves folder.

Lucas' debt could easily get paid of, it's only $5000, even a single Bitcoin is worth way more than that, and the MC says it can fix all the money problems, so he must have a lot of it too, Dev should've looked up the worth of Bitcoin before to prevent obvious mistakes like that.

I don't think it's a mistake. Just giving Lucas the money would not be a solution, he'd just get into another debt with other shady people. This time he hopefully learned something.

Now that there are two distinct seasons, honestly I would greatly appreciate it if all the mods displayed on the main page were grouped up based on which season they are for. It would make it a LOT easier for potential players.

What is the problem of setting him up with a girl? Just that you cannot have yet another girl, who seems to be inconsequential to the story?

How is this a problem? It's a CHOICE given to players that want to help their in-game kid. If you're not interested in that path then go after her yourself. There are devs that wouldn't have even considered making it an option and just continued their story with the MC playing matchmaker. Now that would have been an issue.

I agree as a player of YA. From the perspective of YA's MC, however, I can see how a father would still want his worthless little shit of a son have a nice girl look after his incompetent ass.

Nope, the 'dead threat' of the godess for failing to help the former family over the course of that one year is over and done, not doing anything for him...my MC has accepted that Lucas is a lost cause and vowed he will take better care for the children he will have with Ruby & Anna and not dropping them on their heads

Maybe having a heart to heart talk with the ex wife and convincing her to send him to a bootcamp...maybe it will help (likely not), but at least the MC doesn't need to deal with him for some time.

OK, but how do you access the folders from 14 from the open season 2 frame? Im not sure I remember all the choices i set, can you explain how to cleanly open the save at the end of 14 into season 2, ive done it with other games but lots of hand holding, lol!

You don't need to do anything, just open season 2 and your season 1 saves will be there, it's all computer magic.
