It really is a shame. I fully understand them pursuing the profit gacha games can bring, but I vastly preferred the Taimanin VNs to the new Action Taimanin, Taimanin Battle Arena, and Taimanin RPGX games. Although, admittedly, my problem with the later is just how much I hate Fuuma Kotaro.

Alternatively if you're using WinRAR that allows different encoding..
go to; Options -> Name Encoding -> 932 (ANSI/EOM - Japanese Shift-JIS)
Then it will be decoded to English locale. Thus no need for Japanses locale.

). It could be Butcha-U was scouted by Lilith-Soft because of it, but I don't actually know. Butcha-U also made art for the space tentacle-alien game Youchuu no Ori by Dieselmine, and Dirty Prison Ship by Eroquis, all similar themed titles. Plus others. Seemingly, wherever there is anal birth parasites and butt-stuff tentacles in space, you'll find Butcha-U.

Probably works for some, but changes only file names, doesn't it? Cause i just tried, gives still same error when trying to start. Locale Emulator (which i used in the past without problems) doesn't want to work on my Win10 correctly anymore, i'll just change locale to try soon, just not right now.

It's a multiple ending VN. Meaning: it's literally a novel that you read, with quite a few good illustrations to beat off to while you're at it. You have to navigate through the story, by choosing the correct options (much like a "choose your own adventure" book), to get the female captain (the protagonist of the story) to escape safely from space pirates and tentacle rape aliens...or fall into eternal slavery and/or tentacle butt penetration.
There are no RPG Maker-like battles, only scripted scenes. It's a good read, but it is a read.
