Yea only the free cheat (notsoclose) work, else you need to pay for them to work i guess. Tryed them all and it's the only one that actually worked.

Edit : Forgot to say, this game is quite nice, the endings are well worth it (Paradise one is perfect ), and even if tis short, you can quiite enjoy it.

How does one type anything on the Main Menu screen? I see only a select mouse cursor, no text input cursor, and unprompted typing seems to have no effect.

There is no text input area. (Weird I know)
Try one of the codes - try typing - kittykitty - to turn Sophie into a catgirl with a fluffy tail.

No good. I must be missing something.

1. Went to Main Menu page.
2. Typed "kittykitty."
3. Clicked on New Game.

(Sophie shows up as...Sophie.)

Is there a particular application I should be using? I've been running it in MPC.

This one has an crusoe.exe to play the game.
MPC while playing crusoe.swf causes issues.
For this or most other flash games - I always make it's own .exe application for .swf games - easy to do and gets rid of those types of problems.

I've never learned anything about flash, so making a game's exe has never been an option. I did some reading on the Net and downloaded the Flash Player Projector from Adobe, but the "Create Projector" option is grayed out. Adobe seems to have an application called "Animate CC" that exports projector executeables, but it costs $20.

As an aside, I tried your exe and it works as expected (and now I know what it looks like when the cheat codes go through properly).
