I think that you underestimate the amount of modern people who make a decent income, but have no plans to start a relationship irl or invest etc so they can afford to spend 80 bucks on their favorite porn game. After all a ton of other overpriced stuff find an audience so why not this?

A step-incest (nudge-nudge, wink-wink) lewd AVN and a violence-focused RPG may have overlap in the young male demographic, but other than that their audiences will be completey different in every way, including how much disposable income they have & are willing to spend on entertainment.
