They love fish and tall trees and bluffs. Always saw them when I was on Texoma; saw them several times on Whitney and even once on Grapevine.
I've also literally seen them on a river, more or less ice skating while eating fish frozen in the ice. This was on a backwater along the Mississippi while traveling up IL 3. It was on the order of a half dozen to a dozen we saw all at once. Winter of '96 or '97.
I guess all those "Early Bird Specials" have made Granny Cena a morning person. Can't say the same for the rest of them. LOL!
