I think that the game still has a very strong fan base, but as with other games the comments slack off over time between updates.
That is because if you fail to read a post in a thread, you will no longer get notifications about new posts, which results in fewer people posting over time.
When the new update is released, there will be more people active in the comment thread again.
(Most of them will be drooling though, so with that and other things, they may short out their keyboards.)

Half of the 2nd part of the 23 Sisters 0.13b Full Update's script is done. I'm hoping to finish it up by Thursday or Friday.

Alphas, in my experience, tend to be unreliable and likely to shut down at the the smallest problem.
