Overview:

The Warlord storyline is fun to write, mainly because of the supporting cast.

Fantasy-type mind control (spells, items).
Will be mainly in the druid story line.

Story is much more linear this time, but your choices will affect how the major beats, unlockable scenes and events play out. Also catering to virgin play-throughers (but why you would want to...)

Well ... the way the prologue always ends in nothingness as the splatter magiks in the aftermath of the battle literally turns MC into cold, hard, inanimate stone kind of makes this part of the story pointless.

Not only is MC made redundant, as the one eyed splurging behemoth can only be defeated by the goldy locks dude who also beats MC up in training, but the same dude does the deed, is the hero of the battle story, while MC is simply a stone cold relic, left over, afterthought.

Also catering to virgin play-throughers (but why you would want to...)

Making a prologue where MC is not only useless but he also loses everything and all character development, being bested in the mock fight and then discarded as a weakling, getting blasted by the debree from the main fight where far superior fighters duked it out - it brings us the full circle of the life and death turned to stone and forgettable life of MC in the shaddow of the true hero.


This is how history presents the Celtica Alma Mater of all Britts (Welsh+Scotts+Irish) and spaniards.

Scotland doesn't have a solid corpus of mythology in the same way the Welsh and the Irish do. What happens with the Scots is that they are relegated to a supporting role in the Irish mythology - several major events from the Irish mythology occur in Gaelic Scotland.

Yup. Once again you have taken the pulse of a new story, Canto. In my effort to finish the prologue as a Champion I was awarded the lofty title of Craftsman... Umm... WTF? Is that some sort of glorified blacksmith? Best to change that category to Paladin or maybe Cleric since you practically need to be celibate through the prologue to attain it! I want to play the storyline of the Bard but, who the hell wants to be a bard? Less than 10% of RPG gamers like playing the bard. That should be your Champion! Lawful good, womanizing, badass warrior! Everyone's favorite.

I like the idea and the story but, the choices for the protagonist roles need to change for me to get interested...
