Is it possible to avoid necrophilia, or is it part of the storyline?
Just finished the game, its pretty short game (for now). As far as what i can say, yes, the necro part are avoidable. But, the imagery of dead hero is unavoidable (its just one 1 scene that you can skip). The option to do that happen randomly during event option available.

what trickery? It's labeled as 1.0 on itch and patreon. Not everyone numbers games the same. There's no completed tag so it's clearly not finished. Are you facepalming yourself for assuming everything labeled 1.0 is a finished game?

Pretty much any DEV knows that v1.0 normally stands to be the release version (complete game that is).
So yeah, if you release a game in v1.0 and its no more than just a DEMO, it is reasonable to call it a trickery.
Usually one of the first telltale signs of a cash grab.

cash grabs usually don't involve free games... Granted, you can donate whatever you'd like on itch, or nothing at all. So if I'm doing the math correctly... this dev sucks at cash grabs.

Not all mislabeled games are cash grabs, some just looking for extra attention, doesn't make them less mislabeled.
Moreover, I wouldn't call it 'free' when there's a Patreon subscription involved.
I would assume a studio isn't working for free.

Anyone familiar with programming would know most development tools default the release version to 1.0 and it's up to the programmer to adjust this accordingly... Which many new indie devs don't know to do or don't care when doing an initial release. This tends to piss off the cult of 1.0 as they associate it with 100% even though repeated failings should have taught them a lesson... Or simply put they are facepalming themselves because they are that dumb

For anyone wondering this is a DEMO which at best is a rough draft.

Fixed the game menu not aligned right as it was off for the main menu and restored the save menu because why not as the game still autosaves anyways.

I'd say none of the dev's games are on patreon, but somehow one is. Don't know how long that'll last as they have issues with just about anything that's not completely vanilla in nature, so I doubt they'll just be like "go ahead, have at that corpse", which seems to be what the dev focuses on in most of their games. And as stated by vilewe7570 just because they didn't change the default version number doesn't mean they tricked anyone except people that assume eveything labeled 1.0 is a finished product. Feel free to pretend that you somehow proved your point or whatever you were going for, because I'm not going to derail this thread any longer by continuing it

You guys, don't to worry i just have my few share of sadness...
Sure at first i really did assume it was full game only to end at cliff(10-20mins of play)
When i said this to author/dev and s/he confirm it saying "YES!!" It was just a demo... it made me fall to my knees(happen a few more times)

So at this point seeing 1.0 is just plain traumatic to me :ROFLMAO:

Edit:no not this 1, the face palm is just me sweating
