So you're saying it was stupidity rather than malice? Okay. Sure.just because they didn't change the default version number doesn't mean they tricked anyone
The complaint's still valid.

Stupidity on the devs part, absolutely not. Stupidity on the part of the cult that believes 1.0 automatically makes a game complete... well if the shoe fits... And you're damn right my complaint is still valid because game version numbering varies between devs no matter how many fits some of you throw about 1.0 being an absolute number even though it never will beSo you're saying it was stupidity rather than malice? Okay. Sure.

If a developer advertises a "role-playing game" and it turns out to be a Call of Duty clone, they don't get to then say 'Oh, well we meant you play the role of a soldier!' That's not how language works.Stupidity on the devs part, absolutely not.
The information is only "misleading" to the cult of people that absolutely insist that 1.0 is a complete game. The rest of the world goes by a little blue box by the game's engine that clearly statesVersion numbers serve the practical function of conveying useful information. If the information they convey is misleading, they have failed at their job. Simple as.

Well in this case, i guess to each their own... hey i didn't even there was a cult(lol)The information is only "misleading" to the cult of people that absolutely insist that 1.0 is a complete game. The rest of the world goes by a little blue box by the game's engine that clearly states

Hilariously enough, the game thread I clipped that from IS NOT numbered at 1.0...
As for the gif, it wasn't celebratory. It was to reiterate a point. Also, if you know the person in the gif, then the usage of cult and the fact that I came back again to respond to yet another person that insists 1.0 should be a complete game no matter what despite saying I wouldn't are little things that specifically made me choose it.
Because that's what it means in every other context. You are aware that not everyone lives their entire life on f95zone, right? The information is only "misleading" to the cult of people that absolutely insist that 1.0 is a complete game.
...okay, then what was the point you were reiterating? Because it's not at all clear from the gif itself. As for the gif, it wasn't celebratory. It was to reiterate a point.
Ah.Also, if you know the person in the gif, then the usage of cult and the fact that I came back again to respond to yet another person that insists 1.0 should be a complete game no matter what despite saying I wouldn't are little things that specifically made me choose it.
Which is why you keep doing it.Feel free to pretend that you somehow proved your point or whatever you were going for, because I'm not going to derail this thread any longer by continuing it
...I'm assuming this is another inside joke?
I see you've come out of the hermit cave. It's just Koikatsu, people've been using it to make their own porn games since the day it released.ive seen this art style a lot recently what do people use to make it
thank youI see you've come out of the hermit cave. It's just Koikatsu, people've been using it to make their own porn games since the day it released.
Do you get this product without needing to pay for a patreon. What i mean by this is does the game come out free after a while? Than it would be consider free. Since its not behind a permeant paywall. Not all mislabeled games are cash grabs, some just looking for extra attention, doesn't make them less mislabeled.
Moreover, I wouldn't call it 'free' when there's a Patreon subscription involved.
I would assume a studio isn't working for free.
