It is only allowed on very special occasions if the Sandbox crap is just cosmetic or rare. Otherwise, a VN is Decision based, and Sandbox is Event Based. Events are loosely story controlled. Since they don't follow a rigorous structure they aren't a Story, at most they have a story backdrop.

So what is this? Sandbox or a VN?

So far, we can say that the beginning is very promising. Let's see if the author can implement his ideas (I mean the tattoo parlor and other transformations ;)). Interesting, I think, against the general background it's quite decent, for now :). Let's wait for the continuation. Thanks for the release(y).

Chill the fuck out, did you even play the game? The sandbox aspect is irrelevant, you can skip it if you want, it just bonus scenes if you want to go through them.

TIL games can't have story, only novels can. Damn. I guess I hallucinated all those great games with a good story I've played over the years.
