I'm asking because the dev notes say everything is still canon, and reading the OG thread, I see you say lesbian scenes weren't avoidable, and also another poster mentions that it had some femdom (I have no interest in those two things).

Essentially just continuing or at least attempting to from where the Sims version ended. As for the lesbian content, it is/ will be avoidable in the sense that you don't have to see them sleep together, but they are in the game and may be affectionate with each other regardless.

For the femdom question, none of the scenes I plan to add will have that as a focus, at least not without being skippable, though for some of the dialogue early on, it may be a 'vibe' thing. Maybe if I knew what exactly constitutes femdom to you I could be more clear.

Are the characters in the lesbian relationship potential MC LIs or are they side characters? And/or since the scenes aren't avoidable, can the player completely avoid those characters?

To try to be fair to the author, using Sims as an engine is probably not a sustainable choice in the long run, EA isn't exactly known for being passive in the legal department.
