Well, I checked for myself and found it's 7-10% actually, not 8%. I have also asked a different creator how accurate their subcounts on substar are and they told me they are very accurate and also updated daily.

I can agree that the monster pron niche would be worse without 26R. However, in reality there are still other creators like Jackerman who get a lot more attention delivering very high quality animations. Monster pron is a niche after all and that's why we have so few good creators in it. I will also agree that many creators are morons who will shit out one loop with 5 camera angles and expect to be paid well for the pile of dogshit they delivered.

Fuck SFM though, it's dead anyways since most skilled animators already moved over to Blender. 26 found ways to make his SFM content watchable by circumventing many common SFM NSFW animation issues. Examples: he only does anal this often because SFM pussy models cannot take the huge cocks he uses. He also cannot animate proper lip on lip kissing in SFM, just tongue sucking basically because SFM models need lips to animate proper lip locking and most monster models just won't have lips. Honestly, fuck SFM, it's old ass jank at this point and as much as I admire 26s skills in SFM I really hope he fully migrates over to Blender in the foreseeable future.

Stick with what you know that works. If it aint broke dont fix it. Newer programs doesnt translate to better work immediately because learning takes time.

I fully understand your "plastic look" concern with Blender as I've seen a bunch of creators giving me the same feeling about their works. I'm quite impressed how much smoother movement animation in Blender can be though, just so much more natural and fluid than SFM rigs could move. SFM also needs many workarounds and added effects to not look severely dated. 26 is indeed a master on SFM but rn he's basically winning a car race on a tuned horse. I'm sure if he invested more time in Blender he'd become the literal Lambo driver on Blender as well.

This may be the last large SFM work he does as he plans to use Blender, I could be wrong, I hope he still outputs smaller animations in SFM to keep interest rather than make a big mistake but dropping it outright like some creators do and have a dry spell of a few years.
