Ngl feels easier to trash Gwen, in the end she made the choice.

Both had a shock and she with more baggage let doubt fester into Mike.

Her motives are just, but, she could move on more easily, made her choice, and worked on it.

Mike was left with none(choice in the matter), sure drama and reasons. But his situation is tricky.
Better to leave and allow Gwen to have mom support and play the victim of the situation,me I'm going to leave and suck it up.
The ones saying he could called and stuff really are naive.

And to keep the ball rolling, men process trauma different, low support, viewed as weak and reasons to joke.
Even so Mike was rejected, he did not fucking care about the siblings part.

I know it won't be possible but I do wish we would have a choice over getting back with Gwen or not.

I'd rather stick with Ana and see if things could work. I don't think Gwen is relationship material for anyone not just MC. She ghosted MC then got with another guy who she's probably going to ghost to get back with MC.

Much to the annoyance of some in the lesbian community I never joined the man hate train.

I've got a decent friend group of mostly straight girls who know how to treat their men right and i've got male friends who have dated girls that did exactly what Gwen did.

A conversation could have solved most of their issues but they chose to ghost.

The issue then is to get back with the person they claim to love they end up screwing over another innocent guy and I just find it hard to trust anyone that would do that.

Sadly it only takes a quick look on Youtube at all the compilations of girls talking about how they cheat in their partners and a lot of them started off just like Gwen.

I'll still enjoy the story as Mustard lays it out but given the choice i'd deff pick for MC to stay with Ana. I think they would make a good couple.

Less drama which I suppose would probably make for a boring story.

The more I like the first two chapter for Gwen, the more I hate her after chapter 3. The romance is gone but shitty drama continue to spoil the remaining story. That why I want Mike to look through what Gwen a bitch is and let go the feeling toward her. And back to marry Ana and make peace with himself. Sometimes a good story can be touching and interesting without drama. But it is impossible for story change so I give up already.

Maybe because I had to go through a similar thought process, I have a "soft" spot for Gwen and Mike. Me and my wife were raised as cousins. Her half-brother is my first cousin. In fact we (me and wife) have no blood relation, but, it took us a few years to get rid of the ghost of a taboo.

I can only imagine our reactions if we suddenly were faced with something like this. To say that it would be a shock, it's the minimum.

So, they reacted badly, BOTH. Ana (that I absolutely loved) and Josh are the real victims of this. Neither deserved or did anything to warrant this role. In this, Mike, while very wrong, was marginally better, by not starting a relationship. Gwen, while I can see why Avaron points out malice, I see mostly an attempt to restart her life.

It's unreal, but, Gwen tried to put as much weight and stones over her feelings for Mike. She hasn't dealt with the shock, like Mike hasn't also. They both ran from it. Like Avaron said, a good talk would have prevented this. Where "this" is the hurting of 2 innocents. Maybe Josh will find a woman that deserves him and heal. I do hope Ana finds a way to rebuild her life.

I still don't know how Bad Mustard is going to wrap up the next 3 chapters. We know in broad terms what is going to happen, but, again, the Devil is in the details. It may even make sense, we don't know.

Right now, I am a bit hurt, a lot angry with them both and wishing, like in so MANY stories, that they had chosen to TALK before increasing the size of the fucking crater of damage.

Like I've seen said, if this was a VN, I would explore the options of Mike dropping Gwen, or Gwen dropping Mike. While not the optimal result, they were fitting Ends at this point. But, if given a choice, I would do it after a TALK.
