Gad damn! I'm liking this game so far but please take care of yourself and don't burn out.
Most game flow charts a pretty strait forward path where MC picks A B or C and then gets a new scene or angle then slides back toward the centralized plot but this game has a big fork early that fits the former framework and then a path explosion like a fireworks factory located next to the Beirut explosion And I'm loving running down every arching piece of shrapnel!
Edit: Ok so the fork at the start strikes me as the objectively worse path story wise. The writing is just strait up weaker then the other path. I can see how the swings in regards to some of the reviews happened. As it stand though one fork feels like the start of four different but parallel games and the other is a lower budget "edgy" spinoff based on the other four. That said the edgier route has more comedy but blue balls you most of the time.
Thanks a lot... and don’t worry about it. I’m not one of those people who burn out easily when doing something they like. And making the game is something I like.
That’s why I always recommend playing both routes, since as you’ve seen they’re absolutely different... and the final result of the choice between the four girls in the original route is different too. I’m not the kind of person who changes a couple of dialogue lines and says mission accomplished.
That choice still creates a few small ripple effects that reach the next version, where there are slight changes in events and dialogue depending on whether you picked Asami, Pamela, or one of the other two. Oh, and it also affects the result of what I call the "Fuck List", since different girls are crossed off the list or not based on past events.
Starting with version 0.6 there’ll be an info window to show scores, images, stuff like that. That’ll also work as the Gallery, since the game doesn’t have one right now... I’m leaving a video here showing a test of something I made just yesterday... Don’t laugh, this is the 0.2 alpha version of the InfoScreen. I was just testing what’d happen if I opened and closed it quickly. The screen opens and closes with the “I” key or by clicking the icon in the top right corner.
EDIT: I should explain. The window in the video says 30 Days 0.5.8, but it’s just because I still haven’t updated the version number on my “workspace” .
