We don't have an iClone version of "Daz3d Art - Show Us Your DazSkill". I therefore made this for all Reallusion users.

I was finally able to port my Daz characters to Character Creator...

realtime animations are insane... I think I could use CC/iClone to animate sprites for a game

A bit new to 3D but what is the point of iclone and cc3?

I get blender for modeling.
Daz for character creation.
Unreal for game/realtime rendering

How does iclone/cc fit into all of this?

As far as I can tell, iClone is trying to supersede Daz. Its got a good number of features that Daz simply doesn't, and it looks to be aimed straight at professional use. (I don't think Daz has ever been used in any major studios, but iClone probably has.) It also seems to have a system to import Daz assets into its own engine.

Its a bit like how you may be able to get away with Krita for drawing when you're getting started, but paying for Photoshop may end up your best choice later on. Daz is free to get started with and has a massive number of cheap assets, but at some point you're likely to find something that is difficult or impossible in Daz, but that iClone can do with ease.
