Thanks so much. full custom body.. that's what I'm looking for, I want to create something during a college football game and one of the characters removing the head of the mascot while keeping the rest of the costume. I'm looking for something that can be used as a fictitius college like Bears, Minotaurs, Centurion....
This one might work...

Yes, they seem to be a good fit for the described need. Even if the character is female, there is an asset that allow to use wardrobe items across gender (it's basically a male clone for female and a female clone for male, I would say), I used it only a couple of times, but I remember the results were good, at least male clothes to female character.

Does anyone have experience with FuckOmatic Daz Script & Dicktator G3?
Dicktator creates a Dicktator Genitalia and a Dicktator Shell. I got the Shell to move, but it obviously only moved textures. But if I try and move the Dicktator Genitalia nothing seems to happen.
I wanted to create a simple swinging motion for testing.

You should try asking in the thread for fuckomatic - I got the stuff, but never used it, so I cannot help you, but people in the thread had used it, so they may be able to help you.

If one wants to start animating, like Radroach, Amazonium, Nyl, BigJohnson, where to start learning?

And I mean from zero. Also, what is the kind of PC required to do such works?

I started to try daz studio a few days ago. Well, thanks to some former experience on an IG 3D modeling tool, I managed to use most of the software pretty fine (my 3060 RTX is struggling sometimes but I learn from my mistakes). But I really can't make animations implying two or more characters... Is there a tutorial somewhere ?

Edit : And by the way, I would like to learn how to use dicktator files and modify the bodies (scripts ?), like modding breasts, hips, ...

Honestly, for anything Daz related, you are going to want the best pc you can get.
The most important thing is a good nvidea card with a lot of ram (the more the better).
Then you want a fast CPU and a lot of system ram.

The easiest way is to use the posing sliders for the animations, and to get body shape morphs to change the bodies.
If you were asking to make your own, then you would want to export the default body into something like blender, edit it, and then port it back as a morph.

Another little question is about the files sorting system. I have installed several scenes / props / ... and it's more and more difficult to find my files on Daz Studio. For example, I can't find anymore the files to open my limo doors or the put the lights on (Modern Limo : ). It seems that only some (the first ones by alphabetic order ?) files shows up with the filter. Does something exists to prevent the filters to "block" them ? It's really annoying and frustrating !

That depends, the file locations are set by the asset creators, worst case you can open the archive and see where it is stored in the Content Library Tab.

Commercial ones - I don't remember if you can dowload them also from here. There are a couple of free things around, but are more basic.
Though a bit of a warning, DAZ is capable of doing animations, but it is not considered the most effective and efficient way to make good animations, AFAIK many people who do animations what they do is use Daz for static images and for the assets, then export the assets and use other tools for the animations.
Though the animation timeline in Daz is good for simulations with dForce (including jiggling breasts and stuff like that).

Edit : And by the way, I would like to learn how to use dicktator files and modify the bodies (scripts ?), like modding breasts, hips, ...
To modify the bodies, one way that was already indicated is exporting as obj with basic resolution mesh, modifying in another software and bringing back.

Another way that is often forgotten is an add on called mesh grabber, especially with his add-on (yes, an add-on squared :-D) that allows you to save the modification not only as a part of the scene but also as a separate morph.

Most people think about it as a solution for small poke throughs in clothes, but I used very effectively and efficiently from inside daz to modify the "advanced pussy" genital geograft for a character, and then since I had done that, even created some extra morphs to open the genitals for penetration for the character itself.

If you want to completely change, or create from scratch, a character, sculpting programs are better, even if you use as base the mesh of a Gx from Daz (just remember in theory legally you can do it for yourself, not redistribute something based on the mesh of a Gx without Daz permission, though people do it all the time), if what you want to modify is things like parts of the face or a limb, breast/pectorals, or as I mentioned, part of a geograft, that works fine, though it has some limitations, not being a full sculpting software - though also advantages (directly inside Daz, no need to learn an extra software).

One thing to be careful about, if you modify limbs (no matter with what), but in some cases even the face or geografts, remember you may need to tell daz after to adapt the rigging ("bones") of the character or geograft to the new shape, or you may have strange results when bending or moving limbs.

It seems you are not using the smart content, but if you are, make sure you do not have the "filter by context" case (bottom right of the screen) selected, it is selected by default, and it can cut a lot what you see - in one copy of Daz I had put, I was seeing only half of the number of items I have, then realised it was because that selection box was ticked by default.

I really don't plan any animation. I don't think I would be able to do it... Nore my computer !

I'll try that. But, honestly, I can modify or morph easily the props but really struggle with the bodies... And of course, the clothes that don't fit bodies is sometimes a puzzle to me.

It's a little better, it was that in "content library" :

Was on database. And I just found out this button. Didn't know how to find out the rest of the occurrences :

I really try to use "smart content" but it sometimes doesn't really look "smart" :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, thanks !!!

I am not a fan, I never learn how it works.
I learned daz by using the content library tab. I find it easier, and you don't have to be connected to make it work.

You do not have to be connected to the use smart content.
I install stuff all the time, even make my own packages for stuff from Renderotica, Renderosity, Renderhub, Patreon, etc. so I can install them with DIM (offline) and have them in the smart content - it has its defects, but when you have thousands of assets, it is faster to search stuff.

About how it works, the principle is not too complicated.

The information about the assets is put in the content database (the same used by Daz anyway), then when something is installed, either there is inside the package a dsx file with metadata that is copied to the /runtime/support directory of the content library (the .dsa file in the zip from Daz is basically just instruction to load the dsx), or if there isn't, daz basically creates one.
The important thing to have an image for the product in the smart content (but in reality, even in the content library) is to have an image file (.png or .jpg) in the/runtime/support directory, with the same name (of course not extension) as the .dsx.
For packages created by content package assistant, most of the times it give already to the "product image" the name correspond to what Daz will the give as name to the .dsx it generates (but it is not always true).
For putting the various files of the asset (e.g. morphs, materials) in diffent categories and subcategories, the .dsx file is the one that matters (though even stuff bought on DAZ sometime lacked the dsx, and even the product image, for old ones understandable, but that was the case also for recent products) - alternatively, one can just install the asset package with DIM, and then in absence of the metadata (i.e. if the .dsx is only the one automatically created, that says basically nothing), you can edit the category for the different elements through the interface, even create categories yourself.
Is it worth it ?
Again, it depends from the quantity of assets one uses, and if e.g. one has multiple content directories on multiple disks, or not.

Perhaps it has changed, you used to be required to be logged in, and since at the time, I had internet issues, so it was a problem.

Now that I know the way the Content Library works, I see no reason to use the other thing. Didn't see any reason to bother.
Thanks for the tips though.

Yeah, used to have to split my library up before, when I was only able to afford 2gig SSD drives. lol
Even now, I have two on this pc, one for my actual library, and one for the folder I use to make things.

I've got serious render problem for "night scenes". Tried several times by adding two 5000 lumens close spot lights, using several close "street lights", unshowing any useless prop ("eye" button). My scene is 8 MO, render HD 720p and that's the exact unfinished result after 55 mn !!!

Please don't tell me my computer (Yes it's 3 yo) is not good enough :(

Edit : A daylight scene takes about 10-15 mn

Dark scenes are always hard to do, you have a few options, most of which require a lot of time.

Turn up the settings, especially the time, so it can render longer, and let it go. (Slow)

Render at a larger size and reduce it in post. (Slow)

Turn up the HDRI lights, so it's a lot brighter, and and then making it darker in post. (Faster).

I am sure there are other options as well, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Wow ! And I thought the rendering part was the easiest thing to do... I don't how some of you post a game update every 2 weeks or once a month (I think most are working at the same time !). I mean, yes I can do other things during the rendering process but I don't overdo, afraid to "overcharge" my CPU

I have used Daz only from version 4 (well, 4 something) in 2020, so, I have no reference to how it was before, sorry.

Now that I know the way the Content Library works, I see no reason to use the other thing. Didn't see any reason to bother.

Oh, I had no intention of convincing you to use the smart content, each one has to use what he/she find more convenient - they were not only for you, they were general notes.

Yeah, used to have to split my library up before, when I was only able to afford 2gig SSD drives. lol
Even now, I have two on this pc, one for my actual library, and one for the folder I use to make things.
My Daz Studio indicates 30379 assets installed, and that is not yet the whole of what I have to install.
Installed over two disks, and various library directories (7 in total) - so for me the smart content is a life saver, even with the investment to package things that are not "smart content-aware" out of the box and the additional one to categorise the elements (e.g. figure, material, clothes in the right category in the wardrobe).
