I understand that you wanted the next release to be a complete game. But can't you at least tell us how much progress you have made? For Example: Art: 90% Writing: 60% Coding: 30%.
Maybe show some new scene as a tease (I don't mind if you don't show them tho, I don't like to be spoiled).

Right now you just said you still working on it, but we don't see anything at all and it's over a year already.

But you don't have to do all that tho. It just a suggestion. And I understand that you have your day job (14 hours!? That's crazy!)

Anyway, hope you're doing well. I might become your Patreon when the game is completed.

So I haven't really sat down to break down how much of each section is complete. I can safely say 75% of the writing is complete. As for code and Art I tend to do them alongside eachother as I go. So maybe 50% of the way complete. I have been refreshing the sprites which is a lot of recoding and redoing of art so.its hard to say exactly.

14 hrs is on the crazy end. But I regularly work 10 hrs a day. And I also like to have a life outside of work. So there days where no work on my game gets done.

Again I appreciate the patience and the desire to know where I am at with progress. I'll try sharing some sneak peeks at new art/scenes more regularly.

I can guarantee the game will not be done by the end of this year. Like I've mentioned in this thread, I have very little time to work on it during the week but I am working on it still. I can only give you the unsatisfying "It will be done when it's done." Line.

I do appreciate the patience and there will be a nice section with Aerith in the final version.

Thank you for coming back to the forums and letting us know you're still alive and kicking! And of course we're happy to know you're working on the game still.

While I, like the rest, are looking forward to the game's next release, go at the pace you need to, and for your own sanity, don't feel bad when there are days you can't do anything because you've already used up all your time and spoons.

Oh! I was checking the forum because I thought this game was abandoned, and I truly think the art is great and it will be a pity to this to not be completed.

I hope you continue surprising us with your art in the future. I've pledged on Patreon, and I will be on it until you decide to stop drawing.

Glad to see life in this project There have been a few FF7 projects that have been shuddered and its even better to see one that's still being Hand drawn and not AI these days.
