It's kinetic as of now because Im still learning how to code for choices and options. I'm trying to learn how to properly code that for episode 2. NTR I can guarantee will NEVER be a part of my projects. Incest comes into play a little later in the story. I get everyone has preferences and I get a black MC isn't for everyone but if it really bothers you that much, you might as well give up on my visual novels as a whole because of the other projects I'm scripting the MC is black with the exception of 2. But right now for the forseeable future A Better Life is my focus. There's so much story that I want to tell and we're only at episode 1 of season 1.

It was more of a joke about the black MC, but I sincerely hope you learn well and implement it well in the game and If you add any of the tags I mentioned above, I hope you make it avoidable at the player's discretion. Best regards, DEV.

In season 1, there will be a total of 9. In seasons 2 and beyond, no idea. But just know Im fully dedicated to this universe so I have a season 3 planned along with holiday episodes.

My only warning is that when introducing LI's in High Quantity it can result in a low quality. I'm not discouraging you or saying it can't be done to have Both Quantity and Quality but i'm just putting it out there

Perhaps some dream sequences of the "homeless girl" about her prehistory would be possible. The MC may also help her future shapes (school conclusion, own 4 walls, job employed/self-employed, could become an auto mechanic, at least it would be good if she didn't think she is a typically female profession). I also think it's good that the body attributes of the characters are not so disproportionately large represented! There is a healthy mixture of sizes of breasts and ass. The "alleged so-called cosmetic surgeon" had no scalpel on the characters!!! Thank you

Wish I had seen this yesterday when you actually posted it. Wait until you see what I have coming. The first season (or at least the first 13 episodes are already written and doing minor rewrites to add content and give a more full story. Currently creating renders for episode 2 where we get more familiar with the homeless girl Skylar, and the fan girl Dani.

For a new dev, you've done a great job so far. Liking the graphics, and the story is good. I do have thoughts but I'll keep them to myself because I'm only interested in your vision. Looking forward to the next episode.

Edited to add: I will second the suggestion that you switch file formats for the images. The webp format can reduce the file size considerably without reducing the quality noticeably. I got the 4.06MB ep1_1.png file down to 652.33KB as ep1_1.webp and you'd be hard pressed to notice a difference in the quality.

Man I wanted to keep this to myself but I just can't because honestly I'm too excited. I'm reworking episode one but not just to improve the image look and feel. I've added more story beats for a better experience as well as adding in some animations and choices. Working hard to put this out and I hope players will enjoy it

I was looking at using the .tiff file size for this rework. Is .webp even better?

WebP allows websites to display high-quality images — but with much smaller file sizes than traditional formats such as PNG and JPEG. You can choose to save WebP files with either lossless or lossy compression.
TIFF files are better for print photography while WebP work best for screens.

You could also use JPEG, if you don't need transparency. I think transparency is the only real advantage over of Webp over JPEG for those kind of rendered images. With the right settings JPEG is already quite small and has good quality. I don't think TIFF will safe any space, it is more a container format than a good compression format on its own.

Im glad I haven't started my final rendering process yet. There's a lot to think about but I will probably go with jpg. Originally I was going to render in tiff then use a program to convert those into WebP.
