The number of people (myself included) who really enjoyed this, I would argue, shows that you did a damn good job. That said, burnout is a very real thing, and when you no longer enjoy doing something, you shouldn't keep doing it unless you really need to.

We don't know if it was burnout or something else. There's several other really good reasons for why a dev would quit game development.

So I spent some time running through this both the right and wrong way a couple of times each after not looking at it for what must be a few years at this point and I have some thoughts.
Short version:
There is like 50% to many sex scenes.
Many things that never got a pay off.
The wrong route is quite broken.
And maybe your all not as crazy as I thought, there are some cute and quite sweet scenes here and there.
Long version:
Did anyone ever see the couple lines for if you let Zoe call you daddy but not Mia?
How about Kimmi's picture on the phone being a fox emoji while the other girls have their faces?

Honestly, I think you're way too hard on your game. While I myself noticed and agree with at least some of the things you said, those flaws never once deterred me from wanting to play your game several times (which rarely happens for me as I almost never play a game more than once). Your game was interesting and easy to enjoy. I personally have never seen an AVN game that didn't have at least 1 major flaw and dozens of minor ones, and I've played a few hundred AVNs. Your game was like a diamond in the rough... it simply needed some cleaning up to make it perfect in my opinion.
With that said though, it's obvious this game is still on your mind and are now willing to talk about it again. So what if you just... oh, I don't know... decide to re-make the game or something? It wouldn't be the first time I see a game getting re-made, as I see it happen quite often. I get the impression you'd feel much happier if you did too.
And most importantly, start accepting donations to encourage and inspire motivation.
Just a thought.

You're pointing out some faults and the good but you miss the one main good point the players of your game had.
Fun. We had fun playing it, that was the main pull of this game. It had it's serious side with a certain plot point but in general it was just fun to play through.
nah no bad things loved the game and the girls and really enjoyed it.....was looking forward to moving em all into my harem apt building with me.....but you do you and im just hoping someday you feel like picking it back up......till then ill just grab some beers on the random weekend and replay.....not this weekend....but some other weekend!!!...promise!!!!

yeah it fealt like we were moving towards the harem apartment building and was totally on board...just did a replay...love the game.

So in essence: Take it as an already dried oil painting (your first VN right!?) and leave it as it is - please don't scrape the dried paint off and paint over it. Take it from cartoon strips over the years: They evolve for sure but the old rough classics never lose their charm as well. The best works oftentimes come from raw unfiltered creative bursts.

Also if I remember correctly you produced it in an episodic fashion always building on top of what already was done before and adding an episode rarely retconning stuff.

RandyJMarsh If you want to add back story, just have then talk it out in a flashback. I feel that you have a wonderful story/game. And I still go back to it for the fun.
