I did the best I could.
I wannna thank you for your game, and community you've gathered here with it. Years later I still get notified that people are grateful for me saying that I don't like this, but it's not hurting anyone, you're not hurting anyone by devving it, and it seems to make a lot of people happy.

I hope that you take what you've learned from this, and implement it in whatever project you work on next.

As you have made it abundantly clear that you don't see your self returning to this game in a development since I have 2 questions
Are you still doing things related to coding/story telling
If a dev asked for your permission to revamp and continue the story would you give permission and maybe any notes on the path you had planned

That's... not exactly true.

Are you still doing things related to coding/story telling
No this was the only thing I have ever really done along those lines.

A very hard no.
If someone wants to make a game they should do their own thing not take someone else's.

How hard was it to learn how to make the game and how powerful of a machine did you use
Renpy was super easy to learn. You don't need to know any coding to make a game like this, just some basic functions that it will teach you in the tutorials. If you know python you can do more complicated things but I don't.

Illusion studio is something that you just need to mess around with to figure out. There are tutorials on here and probably you tube. My image quality wasn't great because I'm terrible with lighting but other people can do pretty great things with it.

It seems mostly gpu bound, I was running a 1080 and it was fine. I'm sure it would run on less as long as you don't have anything else running along with it.

I would suggest downloading renpy and Koikatsu Sunshine the anime looking version as it's much smaller than HS2 and mess around to see what you can learn/do. Renpy is free and KK is "free" on here.
