nah you don't need that, the trigger is a 19 score with darrel. there's enough dialogue choices that raise it up to that without letting him cum inside her. it actually makes a following scene seem very out of place because you can go from ethan being in control to his wife randomly invites darrel over to let him creampie her and submit to him in front of her husband. so the trigger needs to be changed to only be an available dialogue choice if you let him cum inside her or it breaks continuity.
honestly I don't wanna say the release was rushed, but something feels lackluster about it. too much effort was put into the doggy scene and not enough into the things around it, though what was done was pretty decent. This makes me think the game is due for a route split of darrel becoming the dominant in their new relationship that involves him, and another where nat becomes the dominant of the relationship and the other men are just there to express that, as well as to tease ethan. maybe call it the hotwife vs the true beta cuck routes or something.
Me personally the most erotic part of the update was the conversation she had with ethan asking him if this was what he wanted, really making sure to confirm exactly what he was looking for and realizing since he's becoming more passive it falls on her to be proactive making sure their relationship goes in a direction that is good for him too, and distinguishing between what he's ok with vs what he specifically wants. like the sex scenes can be written off as generic porn, a dude fucking a girl is a dime a dozen occurance. the payoff is the interaction between ethan and nat so I was left unsatisfied that they spend very little actually interacting with each other and then go to sleep. I don't have any objective metric for what's an acceptable amount of content on release so no judgements there, but it did leave me a bit skeptical of what happens the following day and beyond that.
I get its rough trying to cater to a micro niche and you can't please everyone. ultimately it would be better to completely scrap vance, matt and carl, as its 2 kids and a criminal it's not really feeding the growing dynamic between ethan and nat, it would just lead to mindless sex scenes and that's not going to be memorable for people except for possibly a tiny few who want to see nat with vance. At best you add content for them as extra scenes when you feel the core of the game is finished. just my opinion on the subject.
back to the update, the actual things that happened honestly felt more as a parallel occurance to their second outing. what I mean is the idea of them deciding to either go to the hotel they went to, OR do it at home, as opposed to do it at the hotel, the camera was the only thing that really makes that less believable. the reasoning for this is besides the camera being there it's for the most part more of the same, with a little bit of progression in the story between ethan and nath at the very end.
Like I said the real money to this game is ethan and nat's relationship interactions. I'd assume that at some point she'll fuck darryl without ethan there, take video of it and then either fuck or jerk ethan off(or both) while teasing him. The appeal is in the tease and nats growing comfort in being the one in charge of their relationship, as well as making it clear that even though the dynamic is getting warped, her husband is still her priority and her primary pleasure she gets out of it is knowing he gets off on it. The line she said where she didn't know what to do with him when she realized he wanted her making the decisions kind of hinting that she's starting to understand what he wants from her, and her wanting him to fuck her hints that this is still about her wanting to use his fetish to make him feel good. if there's a darrel taking over their relationship route that ends in 1 following scene, he gets her pregnant, ethan tapes and cums in his pants or some meme, end of game/route. It kills the story because the tease is over and the relationship stops being about the lead characters and became just another fetish vid on pornhub.
The purpose of darrel in relation to the story is literally as a dildo. That's why the bbc trope works so well, its as far as you can get from married middle class white male, which is also why people now as well as before were complaining about how he has way too much dialogue. There should be a specific bottleneck route where he takes over their relationship, with a specific trigger. Outside of that the focus should be on ethan and nat, and how their dynamic plays out. Either he's in charge and she's being a slut for him like a good wife, or she's in charge and taking her control over him to a particular extreme. Either of those can be closely aligned routes where you can change dialogue to highlight who is the dominant in the marriage. It makes more sense, is easier to script, and is likely more appealing to more audiences than a couple getting a dildo to spice up their sex life, then suddenly taking lifestyle advice and behavioral cues from said dildo. Ultimately he's there to get ethan and nat off together, not to interfere with their lives, and most people would argue should be grateful for the opportunity to be nats dildo because she's nat. That's the whole crux of the cuck dynamic is it gets fueled by the exploitation of the other guy, but he consents to it because it feeds a power fantasy of fucking a woman that isnt yours and he gets to have sex with a woman he normally wouldn't have access to. Vance is actually an even better example than darrel because guys like that are unstable and only the most emotionally damaged women choose people like that, until he inevitably ends up in jail because lets face it if you lock a guy in the bathroom to try to score with his wife there's some brain damage there that's likely to lead to other criminal behavior, you're gonna get caught eventually and intelligent high class people can just smell it and avoid it. That's basically something you want to maintain in the text of the story on routes where nat isn't angry at ethan is most of her decisions are ultimately through the lens of "how can I please my husband?". The tldr with the fetish is the boyfriend got porn addiction and the girlfriend loves the boyfriend enough to make porn for him, because he's very close to her as opposed to the stranger is what enhances the experience, which is why that onlyfans shit got so popular where the girls are spending hours just replying to prime subscribers messages to keep them involved, so that the shit they're watching isn't just cheap pornhub scenes. Some have even set up bots to do it for them the new ai tech.
so yea that's my feedback, make sure to keep the writing focused on the married couple. The reader should be envious of ethan because of how great his wife is, rather than contempt of him for being so weak or how she writes him off. Your goal is to grow emotions in the reader, and ethan becoming a mindless beta cuck that gets exploited by nat and darrel doesn't do that. Or what do I know I'm not a psychologist. I just like seeing nat being a whore for her husband's pleasure cuz she's hot as fuck. Hope some of this helps the author and that we keep seeing steady updates.
