If they were really worthy, wouldn't there be a bigger chance that Nat would leave Ethan fora truely worthy competitor for her affection? Nat is the MC in reality, though it seems the story is being revealed from Ethan's point of view, that's usually the case being that most players are guys. Which complicates the telling from an emotional angle, either he's a wimpy cuck or a jealous asshat. Maybe he's comfortable with his manhood enough that he could share his mate with others while the both of them are enjoying. Darrel and (?) are the bulls, Nat is a Vixen, and Ethan could be the Stag if he plays his cards right without acting like a childish fool.
