I think it would be interesting if their lifestyle became a bit more public, whether by accident or choice. Maybe they get a bit overconfident and forget that people in their neighbourhood, friends / family have eyes and ears and are starting to notice that something odd is going on with the happily married couple down the street.

Maybe an old friend of Ethan see Nat with Darrel in the gym or out on town acting all flirty and gives Ethan a call worried Nat is cheating on him. Or maybe an old crush from Ethan's highschool sees all 3 of them and figures out what's going on. Would she blackmail Ethan to keep his secret?
