Well... I always had the opinion that the game was overly complex. It would take a master coder to keep track of all these different routes. Maybe KingB is really a master coder, he could make bank! I give him credit for tackling it this far!

In my opinion A Couple's Duet of Love & Lust is the best NTR game on this side.
Sadly I have the feeling that the game will be abandoned sooner or later.
I guess the Darrel, Matt and Jenna stuff are almost done.
It would be great if the Vanilla, Peter and Carl paths would get some conclusion, even if it's short.
To me it seems that the Dev got burned out, I know he was unlucky, losing game stuff and the accident if it's true.
No matter the reason, I can't complain, he did a great job.
It would be nice if the game would continue, but the dev gave us already more content than others.
If I were in his shoes I would wrap the game up and move on.

I think King B has another force majeure in his life, because last time when he had health problems, he wrote that he had access to patreon only from his home PC and therefore he could not publish a message on patreon. He wrote in the comments about plans for the next update, so there was no reason to stop game.
And regarding the fact that some people wrote that the game needs to be closed, I disagree with you, it hasn't even passed the middle, wrote about it here

Sticking with Darrell Peter and Jenna Riya was enough to round out a solid AVN. But then you add a large Chunk of college content just spreading yourself. Then Carl. But hmph.
