from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall the app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore it needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Or they just aren't real beings, it's all fantasy and our real world laws doesn't have a weight in this fictional thing.
At some point games are all gonna start with all protagonists showing us their drivers license... saying that they aren't forced to do anything and it's all acting because they are professional fictional actors(tress).
The dev of Photo Hunt made something like that with his intro, and it's pretty well done, still ridiculous. But if it permit him to avoid a buttslap from authorities, or something like that, good for him.
