Proof of Life - July 11th - (Public)
Hey all, think I'm going to make this post kind of short. I just want to say that the image below doesn't look like it has many changes, it does have a few, but those few changes represent a lot of work. We keep putting as much time into the update as we can afford, and it's steadily moving along.
This next week or two, I'm going to be focusing on scripting and coding. I'm going to be away from home due to an unexpected family event, so I won't have access to my pc with my daz library and graphics card, so I won't be able to work on images and animations. I'll still try to do as much as I can with coding and such, but chances are I won't get as much work done on AFV as usual, hopefully it will just be a week that I'm away, but it's possible that it could be a bit longer.
Hope you all have a really great week, and thanks to all of you who support or have ever supported the game, hope your week is even better! ; )

Do people really hate sandbox THAT much? I swear some of the most popular games on SS and Patreon (Summertime saga, Demon Deals, Taffytales) still tend to be sandbox games.

Tbf those are all old cartoony games that built their audience a long time ago. these days one of the biggest complaints I see when sandbox is involved is that it's a sandbox.
I personally usually won't even touch a game if it has that tag.
In the gallery I have locked pics for sidney and jackie, is there a way i can see which events i havent done yet? When i check the phone it doesnt show any active quests. Also where can we see update info so like when we know an update has come out

The script for that event was not updated after Jacky accepts her an Ryan's new relationship which happened in the last update.
In the next update, we'll add in some new dialog for that scene to reflect her current feelings on the subject.

Really enjoying the game, but have two questions:
1. When it comes to the election, is there a large difference in the amount of content between letting Matt win or beating him? Played a bit after losing to Matt and seems like he has a decent amount of content, but is there simply different, but equal amount, of content if I win?
2. Buying wine to get Aunt Cami drunk works until I've gotten the first event with her, after that the game crashes every time I try to pick up any wine with this error:
If I check my backpack it seems I have Wine bottles in two slots, but both with an amount of zero, guessing that might be related to the error?

Any scene where you see Matt and Lauren, there's an equivalent scene with just Ryan and Lauren if you win. So basically an equal amount of content. If Jacky is on the NTR path I'd recommend having Lauren lose to Matt as there will be some extra scenes if both girls are messing around with Matt instead of just the one.
For the Wine issue. That's an old bug that's hanging around if you have a save from a certain old version of the game. To fix it do the following.
Bring up the consol by hitting
Shift o
Then enter the following command
define wine = NewItem("Wine", consumable=True, image="inv_wine", amount=0, cost=0)
and press enter.
That should let you buy and pick up wine. But if you're still having issues you can add three bottles of wine with the following command.
$ inventory.drop(wine)
just wanna ask: in the very beginning, when matt asks if you want his help in conquering jacky. if i answear:" yes", does this lock me in the NTR route or can the MC still do something about it? like, are jacky and matt gonna me together no matter what i do at this point or can the MC still get her for himself?
It locks you on that route, unless you do stuff (paying Joey or preventing Mom to get close to Matt or helping Lauren getting the votes on the campaign storyline) it slows it down I think
Yes. Currently it locks you into NTR for Jacky. We want do a re-write of that soon. Originally Will had intended Matt to be more of a buddy than an antagonist when he first wrote it. Depending on how much time Will is up to us putting into it, we might change that from a dialog choice to something else for Jacky.
thx for the answear. would be cool. feels kind of out of plaice that in a game where all the other relationships stay or fall with how successfull the MC is in fulfilling his tasks, one small dialog exchange with a classmate determines the entire relationship with one of them
