Im glad someone said it. If Will is seriously going through shit he should have paused payments at the very least. He has stated he has a job. It isnt fair to the people who pay him monthly to pay for NOTHING.
The last update came out in March and even with that, im pretty sure the previous update took a good while as well. Probably not this long. He has 2.2k subs on SS. At the bare minimum he is getting like 1.8k after taxes/fees FOR FREE! He has stated he has a job as well. Dont know about his wife or any other family that was supposedly staying with him.
There isnt a reason to give him the "benefit of the doubt" other than to just be complacent and nice. Now, obviously, I have since stopped giving him money when I saw the signs so I dont have much stake but it is still disgusting to see people still baby this grown man milking sob.
In short, pause payments. Refund your SS subbers for at least half the months since you been neglecting the game. Really it should be 7 but3-4 is a healthy compromise.

SS sub for the game or not - that is always your choice. Play the game or not - again your choice.
Why not just stop paying him if you dislike his practices?

This is why i support developers by only purchasing their game once it's completed and at a fair price. This game gas been ongoing for 7 years now, imagine being a day 1 subscriber because you believe in the project and paying 1$ a month for 84 months . Can anyone here state that this game is worth more than Baldur's gate or Expedition 33?
I have been saying this for a while now, happy other ppl are finally starting to see what I saw from start. Dont let off, help others see it too. I will for as long as I am able to.
He is also working on another game, not sure what called, never could figure that out.
I think he wants to do another game, but I don't he has time for it at this point.

You're on a pirate website complaining about someone not releasing content on the schedule you, who pirates the game, wants them to have. We have seen things on this site go without release for years still make gang busters, it isn't new. Find more stuff to follow and stop taking it so serious.

That said I love this game and as filthy pirate I will happily wait at Lord Will's feet for my breadcrumbs. I know my place.
Yes, I am not complaining because I am demanding Will to release content when I want him to. I am saying his Post of Life messages just feel like excuses and it isnt fair for people, still paying, to just be left in the dark and paying into something that is not giving back. That if Will REALLY felt guilty, he would at least pause payments but his posts string people along constantly. If he simply stated, from the start that he is dealing with personal issues and wont be able to focus on the game then fine, anyone still supporting him is willfully doing so with the expectations that there will be no new product for the foreseeable future. But this is not what Will is doing. If you choose to support him financially or what have you, that is your choice. Im not going to stop you. Im just saying how this situation looks.

Don’t believe the developers — only pay for what you actually get. Don’t pay attention to their nonsense about “difficulties” and other excuses they come up with. Pay only if you’re getting something in return.
Didn't != can't. The point is that he ISN'T paying him. Even if he gave him $1000 for development, shit happens. Then again, there is a streamer I listen to that mentioned the biggest Ay-lawgs of an internet personality/creator are those that used to support them but feel scorned, so it makes sense there.

Personally I have no complaints and I understand where Will is coming from. Life is shit and it gets everywhere.
He is technically. He did pay, he doesn't now. No amount of money given entitles one to tell others how to do the job, unless that is specifically what the money is for. It also goes for creators. They aren't entitled to anyones money. It should be standard business practice. "I am paying you to do that thing. I don't believe you are doing the thing anymore, I am no longer paying you." "Understandable. Hope you return if you enjoy the thing again."
