One one hand,
WillTylor
takes a long time updating his games - this is true and a fact.
On the other hand
WillTylor
does give quality updates that I appreciate, I rather have quality over a failing story arc made just to pump out material.
Now to the patrion money givers comment above.

Most companies have sponsors to make theyr product - handing in money to a creator to make money themselves - this pushes the creator to make faster and faster updates to meet the sponsors demands so they can make money, look at Activation Blizzard as an example, unfinished patches and games, they sell for a monthly income.

When the creator gets paid by stuff like patreon or other services, he gets paid under the same system as above, however he can choose when his updates are done - artistic freedom is more important then fast updates and cash flow from sponsorships. This has a downside too, he will never get as big as Activition blizzard, however he still got his dignity and artistic freedom to do whatever he likes in the game/games.

So tell me

Because at this moment your logic just failed to pass my comprehention of this matter.

Iv followed you since the first update of your game, came to it after playing DMD - and I find it far supperior - simply love it.
Looking forward to your next update, your the sole reason I come to F95 ones a week to see if there is a game update ready - and I get just as happy every time I see a new update up.
And if you do add pregnancy to this game, I would probably pass out of exitement.

I actually don't think Will even takes that long to update his games, usually.

I think this update is an outlier, sure. But it sounds like everything, from the writing to the image renders, have been finished for about a month now. The only thing remaining for Will to do is to script it all into the game.

He's just going through life issues right now. He'll push the patch out when it's all squared away.

Murlock is actually right and it's something you can easily observe from a multitude of games in this site. It's even more common when you see the devs participating in the thread and it gets dumb as all fuck.

There are games with the abandoned tag, with no sign of updates, but you'll still see coomers slurping the people responsible for their fix. It's beyond sad.

Now, I don't really give a shit if most games here just stop being updated or take too long. What bugs me is the constant pity crap that I see everywhere. There's no update? Start and end with that, especially if dates are completely useless and meaningless, since it won't come out then. Personal crap to garner pity is just strategy to string along gullible fools.

I don't believe a thing said about a devs personal life in here and if any of you has any sense, you shouldn't either. To garner sympathy is the oldest trick in the book, for fuck's sake.
