Create a folder called Saves in the Game folder and copy the save file in that folder. Note this is true for all RenPy based games.
The folder doesn't get created by a RenPly based game until you save a game (if I remember that correctly).

Since no one seems to give you proper instruction, here is how you use saves you get from external sources.
First you need to have the save folders be created so if you have never played the game you need to start to play and make a save. This will creates all the proper save locations.
Then there are 2 directories where the saves are for renpy games.
From the root directory of the game (same place as .exe) go to /game/saves folder
And C:/Users/UserName/AppData/Roaming/RenPy/NameOfTheGame folder (note that you need to allow windows to show hidden folder and files to be able to access it)
Usually you just need to paste the save you want to add in the first location ( root game directory /game/saves)
But if the save you are trying to add is in the same as one of your existing saves then you'll have to override the save in both locations, or you can rename the save so it goes in an empty slot and then only the first location is good.
For example a save named "1-2-LT1.save" will be on page 1 in slot 2.
If you want to change that save to page 3 slot 6 for example, then you need to rename it to "3-6-LT1.save"
Carefull when giving instructions, be clear and make sure you give proper spelling and capitalization when instructing to create a folder. For example in this case the save folder should be named "saves" and not "Saves".
It's a tenuous link but it's because of some photos (after they've been edited) from one of the cosplay shoots that the mc puts on his site.

I have always taken the approach - when an update is done, it is done.
The dev kept saying himself, that he would do better and try harder, more so when he hit his goal, his goal has been hit many times for months now, and he is getting worse, cant trust his word anymore. That is why stenif need to take over so I can give him my money. would pay double the max will is asking, for regular on time updates. would still pay Will, but lost all trust. funding needs to get pulled so he realizes its his fans paying his bills. then maybe we'd get the updates on time. This update was suppose to be mid june, then end of june, then he went dark, then excuses came, and then more excuses. I for one know what life can bring, I still keep my word, do my work on time, even though im gonna be dead in few months, im just lucky for my pain meds so I can get my shit done. or id be bed ridden most likely. but bills need to be paid, animals need food, fields need looking after. just have to man up sometimes. this update is gonna be so small, probably not even worth anything im guessing. the milking is getting way to bad, and will only get worse, you will see. now just wait for the ones who never sub to Will to complain that ppl who did once pay are complaining. lol. the game is great, really wanted to see it finished, I will never get that chance, how long can he drag out the game for? id say more, but then this post would get deleted.

If you are NOT a paid subscriber, then this is the right approach cause you're not entitled to anything.
RANT FOLLOWING:
If you're a subscriber on the other hand, it's a sad mentality to have, cause it will reflect irl as well. You're the guy that will go to a restaurant, order something, food comes bad ( like burnt or raw etc) and you're just gonna suck it up and accept it. Or the guy that will not ask his boss for a pay raise, when you're getting handed extra work. (Not you specifically, cause I don't know if you're a sub or not, but anyone who's paying for something and they're given excuses after excuses, yet they don't demand to get what they're paying for).
I remember years ago this dev had a sub goal that said he was gonna hire people to work for him if he met that goal. And it was at like $2000. Now he's making triple that, and hasn't hired anyone at all (he has a couple volunteers to help him (without pay of course) but nothing close to what he promised. If he actually hired people he would have demands, time tables, and expectations to be met by them and I can assure you, job would be done.
But people are quick to take other people's money but hate parting with their own. He doesn't realize that he would give a fraction of what he's earning for something that'll bring him more money because more people would sub if updates were more frequent.
He's taking 7-9 months for a 10-20 minute update. If you're a $10 subscriber you're paying 70-90 dollars for a 20 minute game every 7-9 months.
There are devs out there that release larger updates every 1-2 months. At least he should've had the decency to pause memberships on subscribestar when he's taking that long, and not shower his subscribers with different excuses every time.
People should wake up and demand what they're entitled to, and I'm not just talking about a game, but in general
All I will say is im excited for tomorrow. Once it hits 12 am(Monday) im posting a "told you so" to the few people who make excuses for Will.

Nah we just get Strenif to threaten to make a better game again, that will get WT off his ass
