Yes, they realized it was cheaper to perfect 3D then actually pay people to do decent 2D. So the authentic Chinese experience, like here, is shitty plot, abysmal dialogue, facepalm gameplay, criminally bad MTL, but great graphics! Of course that's not exclusive to mainland Chinese stuff, but it sure is very much the norm.

In general, the game finally looks like a game, and not watching cutscenes with puzzles that were in previous games of this developer, it would be cool if the developer in the next game would focus on scenes in pantyhose
