Options are good. And the asked ones are indeed trivially easy to implement. Enclosed screens.rpy adds a textbox opacity slider and a configurable text outline (zero, one, and three pixels wide). Adjust as you see fit.

Edit: Updated the file following wiwem71072's advice.

Implemented in SINS chapter 6.
