Knew a dude who got more speed out of his cable connection. He also paid the phone company for DSL for a month then called up the cable company threatening to switch because his DSL was faster (Comcast :rolleyes:). So they did some magic and got him on a fatter pipe. But you have to have a way to hold their feet in the fire bc they make sure to promise nothing - and that's what they like to deliver too. :)

The only alternative afaik would be to release each chapter as a stand alone.

i'm good with waiting, i just have no idea if 7 hours from now is 7 or 17 hours for me.....

every other renpy game i play offers updates, you just dump the files in the game folder, overwrite the old files & off you go.

3 versions to 3 hosts = 27-28 gigs.

since he has all versions in 1 packet he could upload only 1 packet and post that link to under others versions.

My bad. The way it was worded made me think he was referring to the singular download not the various versions or number of the game.

well biggest dls i have seen been up to ~50 gigs (raw pngs etc).

Yeah, I've checked it out. Comcast DSL offers higher upload speeds, and lower download speeds.
Normally it's not really an issue, EXCEPT when I'm trying to upload the latest version of AFAS.

I'll trade the one day a month slow uploads VS the 29 other days of slow downloads.

Still... threatening to switch and seeing what happens is a good idea. Thanks.

bad math again dude.
its 3x3, not 3 versions of 3

3 upload spots for each OS, thats 9 x 3GB (size is dependant on where the file sits)

It's been at least 18 months since I played this but when I did it felt very linear and there weren't many choices is that still the case?

And is there any forced LI?
