Thank you for taking the time. It's always appreciated.
The game is already compressed when I release it, from something like 15gb down to 3'ish.
Shortly after the release SonsOfLiberty works his magic & crunches it down to about 1/2 that size.
Same goes for moskyx who translates the game into Spanish.
If you appreciate their work you should give them quick shoutout or a "like".

Just to clarify, I don't make any compression. I only upload a patch containing the text files and a couple of pics translated.

I shot a couple in my back yard last week. They were sitting in my money tree just begging to be turned into bacon.

Although, with some exceptions, they happen monthly. So I don't mind their being shorter. Also, you could always wait 4 months or something and then get longer play time while you catch up.
Usually about 10 minutes game play time, unless you're a crazy speed clicker. Or skip the text.
And now you know why most devs don't create more animations.
Or at best pop out a 1 sec loop. Or take the time to sync the music & sound with the action on screen, or "pace" the game. Or use any shadows in their renders.
My personal favorite? 5 minutes of conversation between two characters while showing the same background, or one with a few minor variations.
I'm not knocking anyone. It's just not the way I chose to go with AFAS.
I've also been working on a new project which chews up 2 weeks out of every month. So when AFAS finishes I'll have another game ready to go. Which is great, except of course that it leaves me with "only" two weeks to work on each update.
Glad you're enjoying the game. If it makes you feel better everything is coming to a head in AFAS, the end is in sight.
