It could have been done a lot of ways and still made sense... First instance when mc was in the coffee shop as your preview of the spinoff showed... alternate time lines or timelines where the mc was in two places at once... one for the story one for the fun lewd, that could have easily been implemented... instances where mc is talking with the sisters either individually or 2 at a time could have lead to some interesting interactions... agree with the other guy though there really isn't much of a horror aspect here, maybe an action/slasher type feel but even the slasher part is a bit of a stretch... that being said the story is pretty good overall, but making the spinoff a patron only deal is kinda pay wallish... and that's ok a lot of dev's go that route, but there are many players who will turn away because of it. it's like you decided to make a an avn but then went oh btw it's pay per view. I'm not mad at you and not trying to criticize just giving you my observation. It's your business so you should run it as you see fit, but you have to understand for those who stuck around there was a promise that there would be actual lewd in the story even if it wasn't the main focus. a place to add some could also be during training or whatever. There could have been a lull in the events of the story to fit the lewd in. again it's your story and your business not mine just saying there are ways things could have been done. There could have been things during the interactions with the grey lady she could have been a catalyst or something idk but saying there was no good way to add it in seems like you just weren't that willing to try. Either way this is just my thoughts so take them constructively or get mad it doesn't change anything. I don't wish you any ill will and I hope your game does well. EDIT: Btw I came up with all these ideas on the fly as I was writing this I didn't brainstorm at all... not trying to criticize you or whoever you asked for input but I would be shocked if none of these ideas were presented while brainstorming... js.

Yes, that could work. AFTER the mc has learned about the alternative realities and the possibility of exploring them. How could I explain that away before the concept has been properly introduced in the game? It isn't until chapter 18/19 that all the lore pertaining to the ability of "walking the paths of futures past" come together.

It's funny because I didn't think anyone could be playing a game with a not-so-good story and badly composed renders for 21 months just because the dev made a vague promise of throwing in some lewd scenes in the future. But since he's part of a dev team, I took a look at their work. And hey, I'll admit that now it's even funnier to see him criticize a spin-off 'game' with lewd scenes that don't fit the actual game's narrative, because I saw that the development team this guy is part of has just released a 'fantasy scenes compilation' last month made of... well, lewd scenes that didn't fit their actual game's narrative, I guess? For the record, I've never played MrDots games because a quick glance at their art and the game's premise was enough for me to know their games wouldn't be of my liking, so I just moved on -I guess they are good enough for many people, but I won't waste my time playing something I suspect I won't like. That's why I'm having a hard time understanding how someone can keep following a game that is not delivering what they seek for 20 months in a row and suddenly act so enraged against a fellow dev who's barely making a fraction of what he's earning. Not cool at all.

Though in my personal opinion the alternate timeline thing of what could have happened makes much more sense, in that way atleast you can go all in on story in one game and all in on the fap elements in another, dunno how hard will it be for you to manage your workflow though but I trust your quality to be good so guess that's good enough for me!

That’s really common so don’t beat yourself up about it. Fresh “eyes” see so much clearer.

The ring could also have a “desire aura” which gets stronger the emptier it is. Makes the girls initiate situations, so the mc doesn’t need to let them know it is in need of charging (or ask for it). Could get some levity also from the situation.
