Blueray, STOP trolling and spamming this thread with your rude posts unremittingly demanding an update to be shared , unless you're begging for getting reported for violating the General Forum Rules (§2.6)!

Once and for all: "A Foreign World" has no free public updates! All updates are paid ones released on Patreon and Steam only. So either go there and pay or join the mentioned Update Request Thread thankfully started by Slick Bean to support the general request for another leaked update here.

But stop those pathetic post of yours immediately! (Oh btw, I hit the ignore button just as the dev of this game did before).

Is there somekind of walkthrough mod or website/pdf for this game. So many questions, where I wonder what I should select.
Follow the hearts. You'll be alright. It's a soft walkthrough that's built into the game. The last walkthrough mod created by a third party (can be found earlier in this thread) breaks the game and is outdated.

Do you have an idea of roughly when you think it will be out of early access on steam? Even if it is to split into multiple chapters/books/parts or whatnot. I've added it to my wishlist in the meantime.

I plan to do 10 Episodes. This would be 12 more updates, which each take me about 1-3 months. Well, I don't really want to work on the game for another two years, so I'm going to try my hardest to speed up the time between updates. The hopeful answer would be that I want to finish it in 1 year. The realistic answer would be 2 years, and the pessimistic answer would be 3 years. It's a long game, and as long as it still sells (even in EA), I don't have a reason to cut corners.

Maybe splitting it into two would be smart, but I never made this clear, so I would basically rip off the people who already bought the game and are expecting to receive a finished story for their money.

Taking a couple of years for one of these games/VNs still puts it in the faster developments of the genre. No matter how fast the rendering capabilities of the machines, there is always the amount of time that is needed to place and position the assets, set up the right lighting and camera angles, etc. and generally create an artistic scene worth rendering. To produce anything with even a moderate length that had just 'good' quality of writing and artwork in less time would take a sizeable team of expensive specialists and increase the selling price needed to pay back those costs accordingly.

Thank you, I appreciate that response. That lets me know you've got a solid plan for the story over all and seem to be holding yourself accountable for your time in development. I will be picking this up on steam the next opportunity I have. (y)

3 Years is not bad Dev time for a game with lots of content. As far as splitting the game on Steam, I have seen lots of Devs do this, and while it will ruffle some feathers, it will also make you a lot more money. ;)

Supposedly living in a post-apocalypse world yet they had time and tools to shave their pussies? Seems ladygarden landscaping would be low priority after food and ammo (and heating fuel if there's a nuclear or volcanic winter).

I'm not sure if you played the game at all, they came from another universe which was a post-apocalypse world, and they didn't know about shaving there...
