So it s too hard and long for you to make a game and you prefer just write an ebook, ok. You are the dev, you can make it as you please, it s just not for me.
I wish i ve read somewhere before starting it this "game" will be a kinetic, maybe add a tag or some info in the dev note would be nice. It will help some people to no go for a ebook they will not enjoy. So for me it s end here.

Good luck with your story Mr dev.
He can add many paths, meaning,90% of his followers will see 10% of the game, and then they complain about the updates being too small...

This way he can 100% concentrate on finishing the game.Too many shit shows around here, where we miss half the story,or constantly need to restart because of stuff being added because some path doesn't fit the story line etc...

Dev makes a nice story, there are options, it's fine as it is....

I'm sorry to say, but I never read the tags before I check out a game.

Replay ability is generaly a good quality for a game.

Visual novel are like this as a game, and it s nice to go the way you want to go, player choice. you can not see what you don t want to see, or said fuck off to the caracter you don t like. It s not always a lost....

well, good for you if you like kinetic, but you are not alone here... And in f95 there are not a lot who like it this way, maybe 600 people, and none of kinetic game are in top of game in f95. But well, dev choice.

Again it s good for you but it definitely miss a kinetic tag for those who read tag before test a game.

But well, it will not matter anymore for me, i drop this novel. And i will not post anymore in this forum, so i really don t care of the futur of it... Enjoy this kinetic novel like you want Mr the white knight.

M dev could you add some gameplay in your game...?
because for now it s nearly a kinetic and even if the story is nice i m not here to read ebook with picture... but to play a game.
Do you understand that it isn't really a game, as such, right?

See that tag in red right at the beginning of the title there? Do you know what VN is short for?

A Visual Novel is exactly what you said, a book with pictures that tell a large part of the story.
The inclusion of pictures subverts the need to describe the scenes in detail and rather only really need to include dialogue and inner thoughts.

If you were unaware of the definitions before you posted, well now you know.
If you already knew, then stop saying stupid things that make no sense.

The story is very good, it doesn't need "gameplay", it's already doing everything that is advertised.
The majority of the VNs on here actually don't have a lot of variation in the progression of their story and those with large branching stories often go unfinished, either abandoned or the magnitude of the dev time required means that they will never actually be finished in a lifetime.

Some examples include: AWAM, DMD, WVM, three [picked at random off the top of my head] very popular titles on here, but not much in the way of "gameplay".

Usually, the biggest difference is in which characters are pursued and that leads to a slight variation in the "ending".

ALso, two of the most disliked "features" are sandbox and quick-time events.

So perhaps if you want "gameplay", don't click on titles that have "VN" at the beginning?
There are plenty of titles on here that don't begin with the VN prefix.

Very nicely stated, although this clown makes the rounds of VNs and posts the same complaints, presumbaly because he is sadly desperate for attention. Been on my Ignore list for a while because it's just easier not to see his incessant whining about AVNs.
