ZanithOneIt's complicated for me because on the one hand, their personalities do matter - but Blair, Yona, and Naomi are just really unattractive to me. This makes me totally uninvested in their background story, progressing them, etc. Bearing in mind this is a porn game. We're not reading Dostoevsky here, we're playing a game about pounding a succubus up her ass one day, and throat fucking a hot elf chick locked up in medieval stocks the next day. With that perspective in mind, I think it's ok to not want to waste your time and effort, or be turned off by having to watch through a bunch of content you're not into.
For example, early on I hit this scene with Naomi where you lift weights with her and afterwards she squats over your face and mashes her big sweaty ass on your face, and the game was narrating about how the smell was so strong it was overpowering you. I am just really not into that type of stuff. So this scene made me nope the hell out with Naomi, from that point on, any time it seemed like something might go sexual with her, I just avoided it.
If I had the option to boot Blair and Yona out of the house, I would. Hell Blair I would just unceremoniously chuck out the door, straight into the void. I like Noami's personality, and her antics can be hilarious, so I like having her around - but I would really prefer not to fuck her. If they make it so you have to complete content for those characters to progress the overall game, or to progress other characters, that will really be an issue.
PS we need some really good threesome content with Rae and Lyriel.
I would absolutely love Lyriel getting to Top Bitch Azraesha. Get her back for all the tasteless jokes. And get her back for the actually funny ones too, just because. Alas, we can barely get the two closet perves to co-operate for 5 minutes, so I don't see anything like that happening anytime soon.
As for the rest of what you said, I agree on some points, like the squatting scene. That was one of the few scenes I just stopped reading and clicked mindlessly through. But completely disagree on others. For example, I wouldn't chuck Blaire and Yona out of the house. They don't interest me as much as Cait, Lyriel, or even (despite my turnabout of opinion on her) Azraesha. But Blaire has so little content that I didn't even realize I'd completed it all, and Yona has grown on me personality-wise. So I still have hope for them. Naomi is the one I would boot to the curb without a second's thought. Some of her earlier antics were funny, but her story completely went off the deep end in the worst of ways, and now I'd rather her not be there at all over have to deal with her anymore.
The latest part of Cait's story had me thinking that it's a pity that female university students in our world don't wear uniforms like that. Of course you'd want them all to have bodies like those of Cait and her friends in order to do them justice.

I really like this game, the initial plot & progression as well as the maldom-ish setting in a semi-confined house really did it for me.
The girls all have their strong point, but might not please everyone's taste, for sure. I personnaly like Lyriel the most, probably because she is spiraling in the submissive/sweet mind that I enjoy. Naomi... Well, same as hoshimota, the scene don't really cut it for me, not that I can't fit into a bit of femdom, it can be amusing and fun, but yeah, odor & bodyfluid smeared into my face is not what I look like in the game x) It's okay still, I can skip it, albeit her antics, that I don't find really amusing because it's often being a softcore jerk imo... Turn out, the "carefree attitude" went all the way down to being abusive and immature.
Then, there is Rae, second favorite by a hair, she... wel, the story try to hint that she is going through something detrimental for her. zeerin, you were being put off by her trowing us off the water tower, but I believe it to be a "calculated risk" in search for a thrill that would make her feel being alive (just my feeling tho, of course) and yeah, that not something that I would look for in the long run (heck, I would have shat my pant three times at least) but instead of despising her, I find myself hurting for her and hope that we will manage to help her going through her desert and being better. Still, all the hinting at "detrayal" make me a bit nervous (with her being a manipulative "court diplomat" and all)... But I'll keep faith... hopefully.
Which make me wonder, aren't Rae & Naomi going through the same thing, in their own way ? For all the dislike I have with her, and her carefree/jerk attitude, she IS a carring girl, just an immature one. Hopefully, it will turns out well, we'll see ^^

Yona, depsite not my physical go-to (big girls with muscle) might have an interesting story and a surprisingly & welcome sexual mischevious personnality. Rae pulling MC off the water tower was definitely shitty, but I agree. Rae seems to have difficulty properly articulating her problems and there's something misfiring in her head, so I'm more sad and wanting to help than angry about it, especially since it was really quite low risk overall; we can voop back to the house basically instantaneously if we need to, even without her. MC's more likely to die to traffic than a long fall, at least that can be a surprise.
One thing I think is interesting though is that most people seem to love Cait and Lyriel. Is this something fundamental to the both of them, I wonder, or is it just because those two are the big subs of the house and F95 is full of people who like to bully?

I mean sexually, Lyriel likes being thrown around, and Caitlin is really easy to tease into a melted mess. By contrast Rae comes off as a power bottom (she's usually the one teasing YOU, and keeps up her woman-of-power-and-grace mask even while getting choked out by dick on the couch), Blair keeps the power dynamic entirely flat, Yona likes getting smacked but not really denigrated or teased like Lyriel and Cait respectively, and Naomi is fucking ungovernable as usual.
The game as a whole is male-dom so like, yeah, all the girls are fine with being on the bottom (except Naomi, seems like), but Lyriel and Caitlin seem all but made for it. Yona leans in that direction but not as much as those two.
It has nothing to do with the personality of the bully, which doesn't matter in a VN where you choose multiple choice and earn discrete relationship points. I'm sure plenty of people on this site are complete assholes or the shittiest people in the world but I've not been on the political threads to confirm that, and it doesn't matter?

I like Lyriel and Rae because they are fit, hot, feminine, have pretty faces, etc. This is a porn game, the attractiveness of the LIs is quite important. I also tend to like tsundere chicks if it's done right, and with Lyriel it's done right.
As for Cait I don't really get the hype. She is ok, she doesn't act hyper masculine, but she is just an average LI to me. Her face is just not as pretty and she kind of has this 'Little House on the Prairie' type vibe. She's not quite cute enough for her shyness to be endearing.
Blair is short and quite overweight, I don't find her face pretty, and she behaves really suspiciously when she first joins the house - she is just of no interest to me.
Yona and Naomi are way too masculine for my tastes. Giant ripped chicks that can bench hundreds of pounds are a major turn off for me.
I encountered a scene with Yona by accident not realizing what I was doing, and she and the MC screwed around in the shower - honestly it was creepy as fuck to me, it looked like a dude in drag with huge muscles and big masculine hands getting freaky with the MC. Which hey, if that's what your into, that's fine - but for me, I'm not into it at all.
I get that these characters were likely included to appeal to a wider base, versus Rae, Lyriel, and Cait who are largely going to appeal to people with very classic tastes. As long as it doesn't become mandatory to constantly fuck the characters you aren't into, I can live with that. If they add an eject button to kick out the characters you don't like, that would be fantastic but it will likely never happen.
...You know, that's not a terrible idea. Someone should make an H game that's like adult oriented survivor... A dude gets placed on an island with a bunch of women and every 2 weeks he has to decide on one to banish.
