* Between their interactions and intimacy during this update, I may be alone in this (probably I am), but I would not mind seeing them get together, with or without the MC.

Eh...not that I would mind the girls hooking up with each other, I can't help feeling they have more of a sisterhood thing going on. I mean, Rae might be down as long as it wouldn't hurt their relationships (with Cait in particular), but the rest of them...I dunno. Maybe some "hate sex" between Naomi and Lyriel, heh.

* I'm amazed there wasn't an orgy after the Christmas party. It seemed as if everyone was in the mood.

Again, eh...I felt the mood after the party was pretty accurately depicting a food coma. Tryptophan, rum, and a cozy atmosphere. Cait and Naomi had their usual sister-thing going on, and while I was surprised by the Yona/Lyriel affection / admiration, I didn't think it was really erotic. Rae is, by her very nature, pretty much always in the mood, but even she was just cozily snuggling with the MC in the middle.

To be honest, I don't think there was ever meant to be something erotic or sexy about the holiday celebration. Its something to satisfy Cait's curiosity and something to occupy everyone else's attention, if only for an evening. And like UnoriginalUserName says, its a food coma. They've had good food, good company and a good fire roasting in front of them. Perfect recipe for a good night's sleep.

There are almost 400 pages in this thread, so I have no idea if anyone has commented on this, but I will do so anyway.

I find it really a great, GREAT detail that there are so, so many dialogue choices. I know that maybe most of them don't matter much and are simply to develop the converstions. But this helps so much more to get you into character. In this case, the MC.

Practically in every conversation you have options to answer in different ways. Which I love. You can be nice and romantic with the girls, you can be more lustful, you can be more neutral and even be a bit of a jerk.

Like I said, I know it seems rather banal and unimportant, but I feel it helps you empathize with the MC and mold their personality to your preference.

One example that comes to mind is when Rae is taking a bath:

You can be attentive and affectionate with her while having sex and be considerate of what she likes. Or, you can be more lustful/primal and fuck her mercilessly and even tell her that she should thank you for fucking her. Or a combination of both, if you want.

And like that, there are many, many other examples. In absolutely every scene in the game. Not many games allow you this and I really appreciate this.

I agree with Unoriginal:

I think this is a further reflection of Rae's development as a character. Not that she couldn't have been so before arriving at the house, but she actually has been extremely empathetic to their feelings and situations.

She even regrets it sometimes when her teasing seems to have gone to far. After Lyriel spent literally an entire evening (with the MC's help) tidying up the attic only to find the house reset everything back to the mess it had been, she was extremely crestfallen. Rae pokes and prods her yet again, and Lyriel explodes and leaves (and rightfully so). When Rae finally realizes she's gone too far, her expression clearly indicates she's a bit confused and extremely disappointed that she's caused hurt for Lyriel. I really agree that all of the women are basically becoming like sisters.

Yeah, it's really well done. I would note that I always save at a new choice menu (not a repeatable one, since I've seen it before and know the outcomes). Sometimes they can unexpectedly do absolutely nothing, and sometimes they surprisingly might cause a hit or boost to a stat.

I almost never do it myself because I'm quite happy with the choices I make, but yeah. I've tried it a couple of times and I think by responding like a total jerk a lot of the time, you lose points with the girls. And also the other way around. Being attentive and nice to girls in a situation that doesn't seem to have much impact to the story rewards you with intimacy points. And it's great.

Despite this being a harem game, it has such a great way of making me feel bad for pursuing more than one girl at any given time. I enjoy that the game allows you to kinda brute force your way through one path at a time, because it works in my head canon where every romantic option is just a different universe and the like.
