If the interaction trigger has been created you can try to trigger it manually:

So what's funny is we made a full circle in a year. We started it with you and Lyriel being tiny and riding in Rae's palms. And we ended it with Rae riding your palm (and other body parts). It wasn't planned like that, I swear!

Let's have a look at the progress we made in 2024.

We've added three main story quests. Cait, Blair and Naomi got four or five personal story quests each and some of those were huge. Almost every girl got a few events in their side routes, most notably Lyriel. And we've added a whole lot of side quests and activities to try and liven up the game in general.

We've celebrated the fifth anniversary of the game this year, and honestly, I never expected AHITR to go for that long. Big thank you to all you folks who are sticking with us! And a special nod to those of you who've been supporting us for years. You're the real ones, and we owe you.

Our team has grown a bit since 2023, but less so than in the previous years. We're pretty happy with our productivity right now (more on that below) and we don't want to keep expanding just for the sake of it. At the same time we helped start up a mostly separate sister studio or two. It's all still a bit under the wraps, but we'll reveal everything in the coming months.

Now how about we dig in a little bit.

What's been good
We've done a lot of stuff this year. Much more than in the previous years. If we're talking raw numbers, version 0.7.4 from last January contained 616,103 words, 19,978 images and 311 animations as per RenPy lint. v0.7.15 released into EA a week and a half ago contains 801,056 words, 24,719 images, 359 animations.

We've added almost a quarter of all the script in the game in the last year, and a fifth of all the images. We've slacked a bit when it comes to new animations, but we remastered or straight-up remade a lot of older scenes. Add to that all the new mechanics, lots of new custom environments, props, costumes, and other bespoke stuff.

Blair finally got comfortable enough for the real thing and Lyriel started discovering the joys of more advanced lovemaking techniques. We've added the second canon in-house threesome as well, with Naomi joining in to humble upside-down Rae.

When it comes to Specials, this year was even more outstanding. Two minigames - A Date with Rae and Dress-up Maid Lyriel, the latter got an Xmas update recently btw. Anniversary artbook with bonus animations for each and every artwork. A whole House in the Unreal Engine made for the Anniversary celebrations, still available for free download btw. And the latest, a set of two longer animations with voiceovers for Halloween!

What's been not so good
The animations were a cool idea and many of you seemed to agree, and it could have been an awesome Halloween special, except... Except that the 3D animation from the latest set is still not done. The voiceover is done and the animator should finish with the lip sync and facial expressions in about a week or two, then it's a few days of rendering and it's finally finished. That said, it should have been finished back in October. Oopsie.

I at least hope you liked the in-game Halloween event.

All in all, we've tried a lot of new things this year. And while most of them turned out awesome or at least decent, some of them took much more work than expected, some of them ended up generally underwhelming, and some did not work out altogether.

Then, despite the fact that we really ramped up our raw output, the storylines moved slower than we wanted them to. The The Heist arc was supposed to be concluded in September or October at the latest, but with the custom environments and puzzles and everything it dragged out all the way to December. And we still need to add a few events before this arc is properly concluded.

To be perfectly honest, there were a few updates when we were stalling for time while waiting for an environment edit, script revision, or something else that we should've planned for better. But we tried our best to fill those updates with fun side events and other extras. Naomi joining in to humble Rae? Yup, one of those times.

What's been fun, but questionable
We've added a lot of new mechanics this year, courtesy of a second software developer joining the team. Well, maybe not that many in the absolute numbers, but compared to the usual number of zero it's infinity percents more! There are now puzzles with at least somewhat meaningful outcomes in the game. There are many more repeatable non-sex events that reward you with some lore dumps and nice visuals.

And I'll be honest, it's been really fun for us as developers. The alchemical minigame was a blast to design and write. All the new side activities like showering and chilling in the backyard were short enough to do something cool and unexpected with them without trying to turn it into a meaningful piece of the story. And the The Heist thing, well, making it was a blast, even if we had to do some overtime to get it ready.

Still, while it was fun for us, I'm not that certain that it's what you folks want from the game. First order of business for 2025 will be a poll about gameplay and possible new features coming to the sandbox part. We have a number of ideas, like adding some sort of organized progression for the sex scene unlocks, achievements and unlockable traits for the girls, more stuff with the alchemy set, maybe even a lite-roguelike repeatable dungeon crawling with rewards, or even... Or maybe we should save it for another game. We'll talk more about it in the upcoming posts!

And that's basically it
To sum up 2024, it's been a year when we tried to do all the things, old and new, at the same time. And it is my belief that we mostly succeeded at that. On that note, I think it's time to say goodbye to 2024...

Not sure if it's a bug or perhaps just a missed trigger but you can have sex with Cait in the shower before she comes to your room in the nightgown. Just seems out of place if this happens since the dialog during the nightgown scene is her talking about it being her first time etc.

how do you unlock rae's alchemical mishap cus i have the other 2 unlocked no clue whats going on
When you finish the first part of 'Lost and Found, Pt. 7: The Search for the Philosopher's Stone'.
You must successfully complete The Potion of Relative Invisibility.
At night, when you go to sleep, Rae will appear in your dream.

On v 0.7.14b1 you can soft lock yourself on day two by taking a shower before talking to Azraesha. Time passes and it skips the interaction in the kitchen which ultimately prevents you from sleeping and you can't leave the room.

I skipped most of the 2024 updates because it just didn't seem like AHitR anymore, a game I used to love. So what's really going on? Is this even Zanith's game anymore? I saw the minigames or DLC or whatever you called it and my first impression was that Zanith didn't write this. Rae's dialogue was all wrong for the character. Then I see all of these new fetishes and puzzle games and loads of other BS and it just seems that you are milking a once great game to death.
